Doug Gilbert: "People think the Armstrongs are the 'first family' of Southern 'rasslin', but they're dead wrong! (spits on the ground) Bullet Bob couldn't lace my old man's boots, and I'll show Brad exactly why I'm called...Dangerous!" (Gary Michael Cappetta introduces Gilbert & the fans boo vociferously)
Brad Armstrong: "The Gilberts have always liked to listen to the sound of their own voices, but there's a reason the Armstrongs have ALWAYS been the real first family of Southern Wrestling. That's because we prove it each and every time we step inside the squared circle." ( Cappetta introduces Armstrong & the fans cheer)
Armstrong was handing his ring jacket to his father when the bell rang. Gilbert took advantage of the situation and hit Armstrong with a knee to the back. Gilbert dominated the first half of the match, but the fans chanting "ARMSTRONG" willed Armstrong to mount a comeback! He hit RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP twice. Gilbert kicked out of the first one, but Tommy Gilbert needed to put his son's foot on the bottom rope to break up the second pin attempt. Bob Armstrong chased Tommy Gilbert around the ring and all the way to the back. Brad went up to the top rope, but his flying shoulder tackle sent Doug into the referee. Armstrong pinned Gilbert, but the ref was down! Armstrong revived the referee and hit Gilbert with a third RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP for the 1-2-3!
Cornette: "What the Hell? Brad Armstrong's repeatedly using the RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP on Doug Gilbert. Now he throws the ref out of the ring, and these idiot fans are cheering!"
Thatcher: "Armstrong wants payback for Gilbert jumping him from behind to start the match, but I can't condone this. Here comes Commissioner Charlie Cox."
Charlie Cox: "Brad, stop this right now! This isn't like you, Brad. I should suspend you, but I'll let you off with a warning this time. It better not happen again."

Grappler quickly rolled Dundee back into the ring. Grappler got back in the ring and began stomping his foot. As Dundee started to rise, Grappler kicked him in the head with LOADED BOOT to get the upset victory in a short match.
Thatcher: "Grappler knocks off the top-seeded Bill Dundee with an illegal loaded boot."

Shane left the ring to talk to Humperdink. Magnum left the ring to go after Shane, but Shane whipped Magnum into the steel ring post! Shane kept punching a woozy Magnum despite the referee's warning. Humperdink told Shane to throw Magnum back in the ring before the referee disqualified him. Shane did what his manager said. Then Shane hit a forearm uppercut and flying crossbody for a two-count. Shane quickly locked on JAPANESE SLEEPER. Magnum struggled to reach the ropes, but Shane applied more pressure and dragged Magnum back to the center of the ring. The ref lifted Magnum's arm once, and it fell. Twice, and it fell. Three times, and it fell. Magnum was unconscious, and the ref called for the bell as the fans sat in stunned silence. Shane and Humperdink celebrated until the referee ordered Shane to wake up Magnum. Shane shook his head no and started to leave the ring. The ref threatened to disqualify Shane if he didn't get back in the ring to wake up Magnum. Shane re-entered the ring and told Humperdink to get Magnum on his knees.
