Soul Train(S.D. Jones & Gary Jackson) beat Electric Hustle(Steve Regal & Rip Rogers)w/Oliver Humperdink. Regal & Rogers threatened to beat up ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta before the match unless he gave them a proper introduction, but "Special Delivery" & "Night Train" saved the day and attacked "Mr. Electricity" & "The Hustler" to start the match. Jones pinned Regal with HEAD BUTT in a back and forth match.
Last week, Paul Christy beat Cuban Assassin, but Christy insulted Assassin's Cuban heritage in a post-match interview, and Assassin attacked Christy with a steel chair injuring him for 1 fight card, but Christy wanted a No Disqualification Match with Assassin this week!
Paul Christy w/Ms. Bunny Love submitted Cuban Assassin w/Fantasy with SLEEPER in a back and forth match.
Bill Apter interviewed Wilbur Snyder who said he's the "World's Most Scientific Wrestler". He challenged anyone in the back to prove him wrong next week, and his challenge was answered by Tom Jenkins!
Jackie Fargo & Jerry Jarrett beat "Tough" Tony Borne & "Maniac" Matt Borne. Gordon Solie interviewed Fargo & Jarrett before the match, but Bornes charged in and a brawl broke out! Bornes gained the upper hand and took the action to the ring. Fargo & Jarrett made a quick comeback, and Fargo went on to pin Tony Borne with ATOMIC DROP in a hard-fought back and forth match.
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan are in the studio commenting on the action when they cut to a promo by Bob Orton Sr. & "Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr. Ortons say they'll win the Father & Son Tag Team Tournament tonight despite Orton Jr. still having a minor injury and a cast on his arm. Ortons say Grahams will crumble under the pressure...just like Graham Crackers!
Gary Albright pinned Don Frye. Frye started the match with relentless punch combo into WILD RIGHT CROSS for a near-fall. Albright fought back and overpowered Frye. Albright eventually pinned Frye with BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX.
Vicious & Delicious(Dan Spivey & Buff Bagwell) beat California Connection(John Tatum & Rod Price)w/Missy Hyatt in a back and forth match when Spivey pinned Tatum with POWERBOMB.
Lance Russell interviewed Central States Champion Bobo Brazil. Lance informed Brazil that he'll defend his title next week against Jack Brisco, but Brisco comes out and trades barbs with Brazil. Tempers flare, but there's no physical altercation as the tension builds for next week's Main Event Title Match in Kansas City, Missouri!
Billy Wicks and Angelo Mosca were supposed to have a match last week, but Mosca hit Wicks with a chair during Gary Michael Cappetta's introductions to get disqualified. Teddy Long ordered a rematch for this week--a Lumberjack Match!
Billy wicks submitted a bloody Angelo Mosca in a Lumberjack Match. Bill Dundee, Joe Malenko, Mark Fleming & Kurt Beyer were lumberjacks for Wicks, and Don Muraco, Bob Roop, Sputnik Monroe & Big Bully Busick were Mosca's lumberjacks. It looked like Mosca would submit to Wicks' abdominal stretch, but Muraco attacked Wicks with Asiatic Spike to break it up. The now-bleeding Mosca locked SLEEPER on Wicks, but Dundee entered the ring and applied sleeperhold to Mosca. The referee ordered Dundee to leave the ring, but Wicks took charge of the match. Mosca left the ring where he was brutally double teamed by Wicks' lumberjacks who tossed Mosca back in the ring where Wicks was waiting to lock on DOUBLE WRISTLOCK to force "King Kong" Mosca to submit.
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan are in the studio commenting on the action when they show a skit featuring them at a ritual involving Central States Tag Team Champions Cult Of Blood(Vampiro & Abdullah The Butcher)w/Kevin Sullivan. They're at Sullivan's compound where he "paints" an upside down pentagram in blood on the ground. Vampiro's using the fire from an upside down flaming cross to cook some kind of meat while Abdullah eyes Heenan suspiciously. Monsoon asks Sullivan, "What's the purpose of this ceremony?", and Sullivan mumbles "ABC--Abudadein, Betel nuts, Cosmic Cookies...". Vampiro brings the cooked meat to the group where Abdullah tears into it. Heenan says, "Abby really likes that. can I have some?". Vampiro gives some of the meat to Heenan who tastes it and says, "This is good. What is it?". Vampiro says, "Fried Weasel!", and Heenan vomits! Monsoon says, "You're ridiculous!". Abdullah lets out a bloodcurdling scream while Sullivan & Vampiro laugh maniacally as the screen fades to black!
#5: Mid-America Continental Tag Team Champions Eddie & Mike Graham beat #3: Bob Orton Sr. & "Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr. in the Father & Son Tag Team Tournament Finals. Grahams had their way with Orton Sr. until he was bleeding. He was finally able to tag his son, but Grahams had their way with him until he was bleeding too. Eddie Graham submitted Orton Jr. with FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK in a one-sided match to win the tournament and earn a Central States Tag Team Title shot. Gordon Solie interviewed Grahams after the match, and they want their title match with Cult Of Blood next week!
Central States TV Champion Pat Patterson pinned Johnny Valentine with BOMBS AWAY in a back and forth Steel Cage Match.
