Crown Jewel Canceled???

The WWE website has removed the link to purchase tickets as well as the venue of the location for Crown Jewel on their official website today. The event is still listed for 12PM EST on November 2nd at this time.

It was reported a few days ago that WWE was monitoring the situation of the alleged assassination of writer/reporter Jamal Khashoggi. Emergency backup plans called for WWE to move these matches to Survivor Series in the event of a cancellation. It is still unknown at this time whether the event will be cancelled but the likelihood increases day-to-day.

It is also unknown whether the “WWE World Cup” would be held as a separate event, implemented into Survivor Series, or cancelled altogether.

None of this is really true--nothing that was "removed" was ever there to begin with.

That said, obviously it should be cancelled, but it probably won't be. I can see the WWE downplaying it on their regular TV as much as possible. Not that I would watch if you paid me, but Raw should be interesting in how they handle it.
