Cool, the Love Brothers are your tag team champions. In my previous LOW fed, on my RAW brand the Love Brothers were my last tag team champions and they actually held the titles for 9 months which included a very memorable feud with the Armstrongs.
Looking forward to reading your first show!

-Elite Wrestling Federation- Card #1 (Jan. 1, 2016)
The show starts off with a backstage segment. The House of Humperdink (Sir Oliver Humperdink, One Man Gang, and the EWF Tag Team Champions: Reginald & Hartford Love) are with intrepid interviewer Bridget Bowen.
Bowen: "Thank you for taking the time to join me, gentlemen. Was there something you wanted to share with the E.W.F. faithful?"
Humperdink: "Yes! Well, we plan on being the group to beat here in the Elite Wrestling Federation and I think we're off to an amazing start, especially after we beat the Rock 'n' Roll Express in the finals of the tournament-"
Bowen: "Um, not to be 'that girl', but... they got disqualified. That's how you-"
Humperdink: "That's not how I remember it, sweetheart."
Bowen: "I don't-"
R. Love: "Baby, let me stop you right there. I don't know where you're from... obviously from some hillbilly town down south where they have an awful education system. You see, if you were from Boston, Massachusetts, like my brother and I... you'd have learned a thing or two in history class. Namely, that history is written by the winners. And we... (he pats the title belt around his waist)... we're the champs. Know what that makes us, doll?"
Bowen: "The winners?"
H. Love: "Give the girl a prize. That's right. The winners. So, what we say goes."
Humperdink: "I don't think I have anything further to add, other than no title is safe from us. My enforcer... the One Man Gang... will hold a title soon enough. That's all you need to know, baby!"
The group leaves after that, leaving Miss Bowen to look at the camera and shrug.
This takes us to the ringside area for...
Match 1: Delirious beats "Bloody" Harker Dirge
Dirge started off strong with a fireman press slam before going to work on the masked man with a vengeance until Delirious dodged a turnbuckle charge from the bigger man. With Dirge reeling from his close encounter with the ring post, the masked man went to work and scored a Cobra Stretch after a short stint of offense. After the match, Delirious celebrated by running around like a crazy person and spouting gibberish.
Match 2: The School of Hard Knocks (Matt Stryker & Justin Credible) beats The Rock'n'Soul Connection (Marty Jannetty & Koko B. Ware)
It's a fairly fast-paced match that sees everybody get in a pin attempt on someone at one point or another. After about five minutes of the back-and-forth action, Credible and Striker manage to isolate Ware in their corner and really work him over, leaving him wide open for a pair of shots from the SINGAPORE CANE. Credible goes for the cover after the second one as Striker holds Marty at bay, allowing his partner to get the pin and the win for their team.
Match 3: "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff (w/ Captain Lou Albano) beats Brutus Beefcake
Koloff just mauls Beefcake, who gets in exactly zero offense in the entire match. The end of the match comes after a falling face slam leads to a RUSSIAN BEARHUG for the submission victory for Ivan. Albano is thrilled beyond words... for a moment. After that, he demands a mic (and gets it).
Albano: "Race! Harley Race! Enjoy that World title whilst you still have it because we are coming for ya, baby! We're coming and there's nothing that can stop us! Not even the U.S. Marines could stop us! Nobody!"
Koloff stands menacingly behind Captain Lou during his diatribe.
We soon find ourselves backstage again, once again we see our interviewer Bridget Bowen. This time, she is in the company of EWF TV Champion Exotic Adrian Street and Miss Linda.
Bowen: "Thank you for taking the time to join us-"
Street: "Oh, please, darling. If you knew we were coming, the least you could have done was dress up for us."
Bowen: "What's wrong with how I'm-"
Street: "Oh, dear. What's -right- with it? I think at best you managed to get your shoes on the correct feet, but then again, I'm not so sure about that, either. Come see us after the show and we'll see about getting you dolled up properly."
Bowen: "Ah... thank you? Okay, champ, you beat some stiff competition to win that tournament. What's next for the TV title, if I may ask?"
Street: "Well, darling, you see, winning the tournament was a foregone conclusion, wasn't it? I mean, really. I am the most dangerous man in this promotion and I intend on proving that to anyone who thinks that they're man enough to face me in the ring. Don't let the stunning good looks and perfect fashion sense fool you, love. I am the man to beat. Now. With all of that said... there is something that I want to address."
Bowen: "Ah, okay? Go ahead. Please."
Street: "Such nice and proper manners. Perhaps you're not as useless as you look, dear. But I digress. This championship belt... (he pats the belt around his waist)... might be 'good enough' for some of the wrestlers here. Maybe. But it's not good enough for -me-. Not at all. I mean black leather and gold panels? Please! How droll. How... how... disgustingly -plain-. Am I right?"
Bowen: "I-"
Street: "Of course I'm right, darling. My point is simple: I have had a new title belt commissioned. At no small amount of personal expense, I should add. We're going to give the TV title the flair it should have always had, dear. Now, can you imagine what such a masterpiece could look like as designed by yours truly?"
Bowen: "I-"
Street: "My, you're a chatty one, aren't you darling? Well, I'm afraid you're going to have to wait until next time to see my properly fashionable title belt. Try to contain your enthusiasm, please."
Adrian and Linda make their way off-screen, once again leaving Miss Bowen to look to the camera and shrug.
...and once more, we soon find ourselves back at ringside.
Match 4: "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert beats Al Snow (w/Head) by DQ
After a rocky start, Snow soon gains the upper hand on Gilbert and proceeds to really put a beating on him, until a bad decision to smash Eddie with Head costs him the match. Afterward, Al and Head get into a loud argument that we can only hear one side of.
Match 5: THe Rock'n'Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) beats The New Age Outlaws (B.G. James & Kip James)
This one could have gone either way. There was plenty of teamwork and double-team moves from both sides and both teams managed to get in a pair of near falls on their opponents. The end of the match comes after not one, not two, but three DOUBLE DROPKICKS during the course of the match, with Morton getting the final pinfall on B.G. James for the win. After the match, the Rock'n'Roll celebrates and tells no one in particular "Love Brothers! We're comin' for ya!"
Match 6: The Mountie vs. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan ends in a Double DQ
This one is all over the place and both men come close to getting themselves disqualified at multiple times during this war of a match. After a handful of close calls, both men end up brawling outside the ring and seem to be unable to pay attention to the referee's instructions through their hatred for each other. This, of course, leads to an exasperated referee to call for the bell after disqualifying both men. It takes a small mob of EWF officials to pull the two apart in the aftermath of teh match.
*The End*

Hey ajcostello! Fantastic to see you posting again. Great reporting style and absolutely loved the promos and rants. Al Snow having a one sided argument and Exotic Adrian Street talking circles around his interviewer was classic! Stoked to see Ivan Koloff with the win. Great first card!
