Thanks for the feedback everyone.
joebreakdown – you will no doubt be pleased with the results from the show’s opening contest!
TTX – The Island Flyers came about after I decided to bring in Brunzell and wanted a tag team partner for him. The original set was net on the list to draw from so I decided that the Superfly might be a fun fit. Jannetty & Page have been a surprize for sure and really have upset my booking plans.
Pariah – I am glad you are digging the Island Flyers. Look for more from Gordy & The Destroyer in the coming weeks as well. I expect one or the other, or perhaps both, will be returning to Japan in the not so distant future.
cruefan68 – Thank you so much for continuing to check out my fed.

Ron Hutchison submitted Shawn Daivari. The fans were rocking at the end of this opening contest as Hutchison took immediate control of the action and needs less than a dozen moves to pick up the victory with his Shediac Lobster Trap. Daivari has zero offense in this one.
Greg Valentine submitted Diamond Dallas Page. Morgan Dollar has strict instructions for both men before the bell. Page keeps the fans fired up even going as far as to risk disqualification when he walloped Valentine with a chair during a brawl on the floor. The Hammer weathered the storm however and countered back blocking a jaw breaker and going to work. Page was able to escape a figure four leglock but Valentine continued to press the attack and second figure four leglock gave him the comeback victory.
Armstrongs bested Island Flyers. Handshakes all around to start the action before the Armstrongs went to work in a major way. First they cut off “Jumping” Jim Brunzell for a stretch before focusing their attack on Jimmy Snuka. Brunzell saved Snuka from a Russian Leg Sweep and then was later able to make a hot tag into the action officially but could not build any momentum. The Armstrongs kept Brunzell away from his corner for the balance of the action until Brad Armstrong put him away with a Russian Leg Sweep (snake eyes!)
Northern Lights Title Tournament: Chris Candido battled to a double disqualification with Angelo Poffo. The story in this one was Candido doing everything in his power to beat Poffo but just not being able to find the right combination of moves to find the victory. Four times Poffo kicked out at the last second including once after a Blonde Bomb. Poffo himself had very limited offense and just enough defense to keep the match going before the action rolled to the floor for a wild brawl. Morgan Dollar lost control and had no choice but to throw the match out on a double disqualification.
Glamour Girls defeated Trish Stratus & Princess Victoria. The fans were psyched as Stratus was a machine early on in this one and would have finished it against Leilani Kai after Stratusfaction but a timely save from Judy Martin kept the match going. Martin and Kai were able to get prolonged heat on Victoria but a hot tag to Stratus turned the momentum once again. Another pin save started a wild brawl at one point. Victoria nearly pinned Kai with a cross body block before the Martin was able to get back into the action and take over. She ended the contest with a power bomb to Victoria for the three count.
Lenny Lane over Sam Houston by referee stoppage. Morgan Dollar was in charge of the action and he was a busy man early on with both men hitting their finishers in the opening minutes of the match without getting the win. They later traded spots where they slammed each other from the top of the corner to the mat. Things took a violent turn and both competitors spent a lot of time at ringside. Houston used Dr. Mike Lano’s camera strap to choke out Lane showing his frustrations. Lane manages to survive the offensive attack and begins his comeback running Houston face first into the ring post. Houston is quickly a bloody mess but continues to battle. The loss of blood becomes a factor however and Houston slowly losses energy allowing Lane to go an impressive run. Houston manages to kick out of several pin attempts keeping the crowd on edge but Lane manages to lock in a Boston Crab and Houston passes out.
Chaz Taylor over Marty Jannetty by count -out. The fans are treated to back to back Northern Lights action. Chaz Taylor looked very impressive and spent a majority of the action in control but simply could not find a way to put Jannetty down for the three count. Jannetty came back mid way through the match and the action when outside. Taylor reverses a whip and sent Jannetty hard into the ring post and was busted open. Three separate times from that point Taylor dove onto Jannetty on the floor but each time Jannetty managed to just beat the ten count back into the ring. As the action continued, both men began to miss moves. Jannetty was clearly in rough shape and when Taylor hit a cartwheel and superkick on the floor, Jannetty could not recover and was counted out of the ring.
Terry Gordy bested Johnny Valentine by disqualification. Fans knew this would be a hard hitting encounter but were still stunned when Gordy dropped Valentine with an opening right hand punch and then crushed him with a lariat seconds later knocking him loopy. Gordy kept on his opponent moving to an STF which forced Valentine to take a breather on the floor. Gordy would have none of it and followed Valentine but moved in too quickly allowing to slam Gordy onto the ringside table smashing it to pieces. Morgan Dollar quickly called for the disqualification as the fans chanted.
Ivan Koloff & Vachons over Canadian Heavyweight Champion Lou Thesz & Rock ‘n’ Roll Express by count-out. We are treated to Thesz v. Koloff from the opening bell in s preview of their upcoming title match. Unlike last week, it is Koloff who dominates picking up a pair of near falls and then crushing Thesz with a Russian Sickle but Thesz just kicks out and the action continues. Robert Gibson is finally able to get the tag to relieve Thesz but Gibson has little momentum and finds himself in trouble with the quick tags of the Vachon Brothers. Butcher Vachon tosses Gibson to the floor and rams him back first into the ring post. Gibson cannot recover and is counted out of the ring (snake eyes). After the match, Koloff holds of the Canadian Heavyweight Title to great heat and dares Thesz and company to come take the belt from him. Thesz and the Express except and we get a post match brawl. Gibson traps Butcher Vachon in a Gibson Leglock and Morton adds a dropkick to the knee for good measure and Vachon has trouble putting weight on his leg as the heels retreated to the back without the title belt.
Commonwealth Champion Buddy Rogers submitted The Destroyer. Two of the most hated, brash competitors in the territory clashed in the main event. Destroyer matched the champion hold for hold early on but missed a charge to the corner which lead to a quick roll up for two and then Rogers applied a Figure Four Grapevine but Destroyer made the ropes. Destroyer came back during a brawl on the floor captured by Dr. Mike Lano. Destroyer scored a near fall with a deathjump cross body and then transitioned to a bow and arrow that nearly got a submission. Rogers came back catching Destroyer with a dropkick to the knee that dropped him to the mat. Rogers attacked the leg and then applied his Figure Four Grapevine a second time to retain his title.
