The Upper Class retain the titles and the troubles continue for Judge Hugo Lexington Black. Really fun action packed card and I always dig the "period piece" news headlines after the exhibitions. Great stuff all around Mad Kanter! Still wondering which new Olde Wrestling card is headed our way in Sept. Hope Matthew Cross can hold onto the title for a long time. When you don't see any sign of The Patriot then I think trouble is a coming.

Cross and Lincoln are definitely the top two singles wrestlers in the fed right now and I'm sure their rivalry will continue. The Patriot stroyline is really about to pick up, so stay tuned.

Circa 1920's
EXTRA ... EXTRA ... READ ALL ABOUT IT!
THE LOCALS CLASH
The biggest news coming out of the most recent KC’S FINEST WRESTLING event had to be the seeming implosion of The Locals In Favor of Prohibition.
Members Gavin Q. Volstead and Cameron S. Sheppard brutally attacked “leader” Hugo Lexington as he stood at ringside during a match between The Locals female member Kimber Lee and Thunderkitty. This came after Sheppard had punched Lexington in the eye earlier in the event. The punch came after The Locals lost a match to the Foreign Legion as a result of a distraction by Lexington. Lexington was taken to a hospital before the event ended.
The other match fans were talking about after the event was the great main event featuring KC’S FINEST TAG TEAM The Upper Class successfully defending their titles against The Moonshin’ Men of Appalachia. The match was a classic brawl with the more refined champions coming out on top.
Others earning victories at the event were Dasher Hatfield, Maurice & Paul Vachon, Gregory Iron & Mary Elizabeth Monroe, Jeff King and Marion Fontaine.

Some wild action going on in KC. Wondered how long Volstead and Sheppard would go before dealing with Hugo.

KC’S FINEST PRO WRESTLING CIRCA 1920’s SHOW 10 KANSAS CITY CLUB KANSAS CITY, MO
(Promoter ‘Big Daddy’ Marco Epstein is in the center of the ring to welcome the fans.)
Epstein: Welcome to Kansas City’s Finest, the best pro wrestling in the Midwest, not to mention the best tag teams in the Midwest, and that’s what we’re going to feature at today’s event, including KC’S FINEST TAG TEAM defending their titles against The Jackson County Jeepers. Also, at today’s event …
(Suddenly, The Patriot, Gavin Q. Volstead and Cammeron S. Sheppard came of the crowd and entered the ring. The Patriot asked for the mic and Epstein acquiesced.)
Patriot: I know I’ve been public enemy number one since stepping foot in KC’s Finest and probably will be going forward, but my behavior has not been that of which should be someone representing the federal government. I would like to sincerely apologize for any damage I have done or injuries I have caused. That is with the exception to that waste of human flesh, Hugo Lexington. I came here to enforce prohibition laws and thought he was willing to do what must be done in order to enforce the law. Unfortunately for him, he learned the hard way what happens when you’re not. These two men, though. These two know what must be done and have no qualms about doing it. I’m willing to do what must be done as well and I think that since you Mr. Epstein aren’t willing to help enforce federal law, you are part of the problem and must be dealt with.
Epstein: Are you threatening me?
Patroit: By no means sir. All I’m saying is you will get what you have coming to you, when the time is right. In the meantime, I think we have some unfinished business with three gentlemen you associate with. I’m talking to The Associates. I know their back there, so if you wouldn’t mind having them come on out, we’ll settle things.
(Epstein signals to the back and The Associates make their way to the ring.)
The Associates (Bruno ‘Baby Face’ Moretti, Niles ‘Sozio’ Young & Biff Busick) vs. Locals In Favor of Prohibition (Gavin Q. Volstead & Cammeron S. Sheppard & The Patriot) Neither team waited for the bell to start the brawl and it never really stopped once the bell rang. The match broke down quickly as all six men brawled inside and outside the ring. The ref basically threw the match out as he could not gain control.
Heidi The Riveter & Marion Fontaine vs. Jeff King & Kimber Lee Lee is seemingly distancing herself from The Locals given neither side really wants anything to do with the other. Even though Lee didn’t have that distraction, she was still overmatched by Heidi early on, who gained a couple of near falls. Lee recovered and the match continued with both teams executing multiple tags. The end came with Fontaine pinned King following a bulldog.
Maurice & Paul Vachon vs. Foreign Legion (Martin Scurll & Robert Mailett) The Vachons seemed to be in a particularly bad mood as the isolated Scurll. The action spilled out of the ring, where Maurice wasted no time in blasting Scurll with a wooden chair, shattering it over his back. The ref also wasted no time in disqualifying him.
John Abraham Lincoln vs. ‘Big’ Sue Jackson Lincoln looked to get back on the winning track after losing the PRIDE OF KANSAS CITY title. Lincoln controlled most of the match and beat Jackson with a THROAT LIFT SLAM.
Isaias Velasquez & Craig Mitchell vs. The Moonshin’ Men of Appalachia (Chuck Taylor & Jock Samson) Velasquez & Mitchell worked like a well-oiled machine, making quick tags and fluid double teams. On the flip side The Moonshin’ Men looked to be a step off and couldn’t get anything going. Mitchell tagged Taylor with a flying cross body block.
The Good Doctors (Dr. Jacob Omen & Dr. Sam Sheppard) w/Nurse Britt Baker vs. Robert Orton, Sr. & Robert Orton, Jr. After the way the match between Bob Orton, Sr. and Dr. Jacob Omen ended at the last event, these two teams couldn’t wait to get their hands on each other. Omen and Orton, Sr. picked up right where they left off on the last show and pounded the hell out of each other. Both men tagged out, but the brawl continued. In the end Sheppard locked the MANDIBULAR CLAWHOLD on Orton, Sr. and made him submit.
Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs. Thunderkitty Monroe was all over Thunderkitty in the early going, but Thunderkitty battled back. The action continued back and forth until Monroe made Thunderkitty submit to the RAINBOW CROSS.
The Jackson County Jeepers (Clean & Jerk) vs. KC’S FINEST TAG TEAM The Upper Class (Maxwell Jacob Friedman & Logan Easton Laroux) Friedman got a little too cocky for his own good in this one. He had Jerk reeling, but took too much time showboating and Jerk surprised Friedman with a sleeper hold in the center of the ring. Laroux was too busy playing to the crowd to notice his partner was fading. By the time Laroux finally noticed, Friedman was out and the ref called for the bell. Laroux was beside himself in disbelief as Marco Epstein entered the ring.
(Epstein presented the belts to the new champions, who were ecstatic. Clean and Jerk shook Epstein’s hand before leaving the ring, leaving Epstein to thank the fans and invite them to the next event.)

Things are definitely heating up in KC's Finest Pro Wrestling for sure Mad Kanter! A wild way for the card to start. The Patriot warns Marco Epstein that although he's "not thhreatening him" he will soon definitely get what's coming to him. In other words - sleep well lol. Seeing John Abraham Lincoln get back on the winning track absolutely rocked, especially how he won. And how about the Jeepers claiming the titles before the former champs could even really react! Great card my friend!
