Hey Mad Kanter ! Some intrigue on this last card with the masked attack against The Legislators & The Patriot. Was pulling for Abraham and The Jeepers but Heidi The Riveters victory over Nicholas Valentino was my favorite moment (coupled with that confrontation with Mary Elizabeth Monroe!). Looking forward to who eventually earns the right to challenge Matthew Cross. And liking The Jazz Kings team up, a powerful grouping. Huzzah my friend! Thank you for the kind words my friend. I have a basic outline in my head on where I want things to go so stay tuned as the storylines continue to unfold.

JEEPERS PROVE TO BE TEMPORARY CHAMPIONS
The Jackson County Jeepers showed their title victory at Kansas City’s Finest Pro Wrestling’s tenth event was merely a fluke as they lost the title in their first defense.
The Foreign Legion proved to be a mighty challenge as they battled back from an early deficit to unseat the champions and become the new title holders at the most recent event held by KC's FINEST.
“The big man and I had no doubt we could take out those undeserving half wits,” said Marty Scurll. “There isn’t a team out there that can take these titles from us, but I invite them to try. And when they do, they will definitely find out what the power of this big man behind me is all about.”
The other big happening from the last event was the appearance of two masked men, who attacked The Locals In Favor of Prohibition during their match with the debuting Jazz Kings Trio. The Patriot, Gavin Volstead and Cammeron Sheppard were attacked as they brawled with their opponents at ringside. The Jazz Kings Trio were rather disappointed that their KC’S FINEST debut was interrupted in the fashion it was.
“I wish we had more of an opportunity to show what we can do in the ring,” explained band leader Bobo Brazil. “Koko, SD and I have a tremendous amount of ability both inside the ring and on stage. We invite anyone who’s interested to catch our set at the Moonshin’ Tavern as well as the next time we appear in the ring. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.”
Heidi The Riveter continued to let her view point be known as she embarrassed Nicholas Valentino by not only defeating him, but attacking him after the match. The damage could’ve been worse, but Mary Elizabeth Monroe came out to confront Heidi.
“Mary Elizabeth Monroe is a nitwit if she thinks she can stick her nose in my business and get away with it,” said Heidi The Riveter. “I invite her to get in the ring with me whenever she feels brave enough and I’ll show her exactly how big a mistake she made.”
There were quite a few other entertaining matches at the event with The Associates, Dasher Hatfield, Jessica James, The Upper Class and Bill Taylor all gaining victories. Taylor’s victory was especially important as it was over former Pride of Kansas City title holder John Abraham Lincoln. Rumor has it Taylor’s victory puts him in contention for a shot at current Pride of Kansas City Matthew Cross, possibly as early as the next event.

Rockin and rollin Mad Kanter! Really like how you shadow each event with the headlines section. Truly has that newspaper feel. Curious to see who the two masked men are and I had a feeling Burly Bill's victory was going to put him in line for a title shot. Digging any and all things KCFPW!

KC’S FINEST PRO WRESTLING CIRCA 1920’s SHOW 13 KANSAS CITY CLUB KANSAS CITY, MO
(Promoter ‘Big Daddy’ Marco Epstein is in the center of the ring to welcome the fans.)
Epstein: Welcome to Kansas City’s Finest, the best pro wrestling in the Midwest. Today’s main event is a Pride of Kansas City title defense by Matthew Cross and everyone has been asking me if ‘Burly’ Bill Taylor will be the challenger. Bill is definitely in line for a title match, but it will not be here today. Today the challenger is another deserving individual and that’s our own ringside doctor, Dr. Sam Sheppard.
(Sheppard stands and acknowledges the crowd to a bewildering mixed reaction.)
Now to the rest of the card. Back by popular demand, The Jazz King Trio will be in action and friends, if you haven’t seen their set at the Moonshin’ Tavern, let me just say it’s outstanding. Billy Roc and ‘Big’ Sue Jackson will also be in action. Finally …
(Suddenly, Epstein is interrupted by The Patriot and The Locals In Favor of Prohibition. The trio quickly makes their way into the ring and are immediately in the face of Epstein.)
Patriot: Enough! Who the hell were those masked men that attacked us. It’s not just that no one is talking, it’s the way that they’re not talking that angers me. Tell me or else.
Epstein: Look here, you should’ve learned by now not to threaten me. I will not be intimidated the way you’ve done with others in the community with your interrogations. I am willing to overlook the threat because I understand your frustration. I’m frustrated as well because I have no idea who those masked gentlemen were as well. Rest assured I am looking into this issue and hope to have some answers soon.
Patriot: Like I said, you better … or else.
Epstein: Don’t press your luck. Now that your opponents are here, let’s give these folks the great wrestling action they’ve come to know and love from KC’S Finest.
Dasher Hatfield & Gregory Iron vs. Locals In Favor of Prohibition (Gavin Q. Volstead & Cammeron S. Sheppard) w/The Patriot The locals were fired up for this match and took out their anger on their opponents. Iron and Hatfield were the unfortunate victims of their wrath as they were all over them from the opening bell. It wasn’t long before The Locals looked to put away their opponents. Iron survived one CONGRESSIONAL LEG SWEEP and the SENATE SEAT, but it looked as if the end was near after a second CONGRESSIONAL LEG SWEEP, but the two masked men from the last show appeared from under the ring and attacked The Patriot. As Volstead jumped off the apron to help his de facto leader Iron recovered and attacked a distracted Sheppard from behind. Iron locked in the Crippled Crossface as Sheppard was forced to watch his allies brawl at ringside with the two masked men. Sheppard had no choice but to submit, more so in order to help his running mates than that he was any sort of pain.
(Sheppard exited the ring as Marco Epstein led his trio of enforcers, The Associates, to ringside. The two masked men escaped through the crowd as Epstein and The Associates arrived. Sheppard tended to Volstead and The Patriot, but The Patriot wanted no part of it. The Patriot immediately got in Epstein’s face, but Epstein did not back down. Unable to control his temper, The Patriot actually took a swing at Epstein, who managed to dodge the roundhouse haymaker. The Associates immediately attacked The Locals and there was another uncontrollable ringside brawl. Epstein called for some referees as well as other wrestlers, including Hatfield, Iron, Billy Roc and the Jackson County Jeepers. Order was finally restored at ringside and everyone cleared the ringside area, including a very irritated Epstein)
‘Big’ Sue Jackson vs. Robert Baines w/Mike Jones & Cymbal Monkey Jackson had the unenviable task of dealing with the ringside distractions made by Baines entourage. If it wasn’t Jones panhandling at ringside, it was Cymbal Monkey banging his drum. None of it stopped Jackson from completely destroying Baines and beating him with the CLOSE SHAVE.
Jazz Kings Trio (Bobo Brazil, Koko Ware & Conrad ‘Special Delivery’ Jones) vs. The Associates (Bruno ‘Baby Face’ Moretti, Niles ‘Sozio’ Young & Biff Busick) The Associates were already warmed up after their earlier confrontation with The Locals and carried it over into this match, starting it off quickly. Young was a little too aggressive and missed a turnbuckle charge, but the Trio was unable to capitalize. The brutal action continued, mainly outside the ring thanks to The Associates. JKT would not be denied though and Ware pinned Moretti after delivering his SUSTAINING PEDAL kick to the back of the head.
(After the match, The Locals attacked The Associates and all six men brawled again. This time law enforcement officers flooded the ringside area and quickly regained control, escorting all six men from the building.)
Tracy Smothers & Zoey Skye vs. Jeff King & Thunderkitty Smothers and Skye played to the crowd and played to each before the match began, but once it did, both were all business. Smothers and Skye made sure this back and forth contest was full of energy and did not disappoint. Smothers and Skye were disappointed they did not get the victory as this match ended in a double count out as Smothers and King brawled outside the ring.
Billy Roc vs. Craig Mitchell Mitchell dominated this contest, but Roc made improved his record to 2-0 after he surprised Mitchell with a NECKBREAKER outside the ring.[/i]
Heidi The Riveter vs. Mary Elizabeth Monroe Heidi made the challenge and Monroe answered. Curiously, Monroe stopped and hugged a large, burly individual, who was seated near ringside. This mountain of a man was very conspicuous, sporting a shaved head, bushy fu-man-chu moustache and big bushy eye brows. The man’s smile beamed as Monroe entered the ring and prepared for combat. The power of Monroe was on display as she dominated the action in the early going. The match spilled out of the ring, where Heidi gained the advantage and beat down Monroe right in front of the man that Monroe embraced as she came to the ring. The man said something to Heidi and Heidi immediately got in his face. Heidi spewed her rhetoric before attempting to slap the man. This proved to be Heidi’s undoing as the man intercepted the slap by catching Heidi’s wrist. An instant later Monroe tackled Heidi. Monroe was all over Heidi and returned her to the ring. Shortly thereafter Monroe had submitting to the RAINBOW CROSS.
(As Monroe celebrated her win, Heidi quickly recovered and began sizing up Monroe for an attack from behind. The aforementioned man from the crowd once again interjected himself as he entered the ring and stood between Monroe and a charging Heidi, who quickly slammed on the brakes before colliding with this mountain of a man. Heidi had words for both Monroe and the man, but bid a hasty retreat. The man turned and faced Monroe and a huge grin again reappeared as the two once again embraced. The man hoisted Monroe onto his shoulder and shouted, “That’s my girl! That’s my daughter!”
The Jackson County Jeepers (Clean & Jerk) vs. The Upper Class (Maxwell Jacob Friedman & Logan Easton Laroux) This match started with MJF and LEL telling their opponents how much better the duo was than two “muscle bound nitwits”. That didn’t sit well with the Jeepers and they tried to make The Upper Class eat their words. The power of the Jeepers was on full display as they had The Upper Class reeling for most of the match. The did manage to gain the upper hand and looked to be on their way to another victory when Jerk surprised Laroux with a neckbreaker outside the ring. Jerk quickly rolled Laroux back into the ring and made the pin before Friedman could do anything about it.
PRIDE OF KANSAS CITY TITLE MATCH Dr. Sam Sheppard vs. Pride of Kansas City Matthew Cross This match started out with a handshake, but got heated quickly as the action spilled out of the ring. Sheppard contemplated using some dirty tactics as he pulled a cloth from his doctor’s bag that filled the ringside area with an unmistankenable smell. Sheppard did indeed throw the cloth aside before Cross sent Sheppard flying inadvertantly into a ringside table with an airplane spin. Sheppard was a little shaken by the move and definitely riled as he made his way back into the ring. Both men emptied the tank in the next several minutes before the brawl once again spilled to the ringside area. Both men were counted out as they brawled uncontrollably at ringside.
(Epstein once again was aided by referees and wrestlers to separate the two men, and after several tense moments cooler heads prevailed as Cross and Sheppard again shook hands. Epstein thanked the crowd for attending what turned out to be a very wild and unpredicatable event. He implored that you never know what exactly will happen when you attend a KC’S FINEST event and invited everyone back next time.)

A true barn burner of a night for sure Mad Kanter! From the Patriot almost going nuclear, to several large scale ringside brawls - bordering on assault charges it sounded like. Really enjoyed Mary Elizabeth Monroe's victory and her father making an appearance. Sloberknocker of a main event - but at least Matthew Cross retains the title due to the double count out. Fantastic night!

WILD AND UNPREDICTABLE
It was a wild and unpredictable afternoon at the last KC’S FINEST event.
The craziness was rampant from the beginning of the card as The Patriot and the Locals in Favor of Prohibition made it known to KC’S FINEST promoter Marco Epstein that they were not happy about a recent attack perpetrated on them by two unknown masked men. Those masked men made their presence known once again as they attacked the Locals during the subsequent match. The masked men escaped as The Locals began brawling with The Associates. It took several wrestlers as well as constables to restore order.
“I will not allow this sort of anarchy to continue,” said a very heated Epstein following the event. “I will not be intimidated by anyone. I will address these two masked men at the beginning of our next event, but these uncontrollable brawls will not be tolerated.”
The Patriot and The Locals took hands with The Associates once again later in the event. It looked as if the entire police force invaded the ringside area to restore order and escort the six men from the building.
“We are sick and tired of the malarkey that has gone on since the beginning of this promotion,” said an irate Patriot. “If it’s not the anti-prohibition movement, it’s those three nitwits from what I can only assume is organized crime. And I haven’t even began to comment on the promoter of questionable morales, who allows all this to happen. He says he will address these two masked men at the next event? I say he better … or else.”
The craziness continued in the main event as the Pride of Kansas City Matthew Cross defended his title against ringside doctor Sam Sheppard. The match started respectably as both men exchanged a handshake, but the action broke down quickly after that. Both men were counted out amid a wild brawl and it looked as if the two men who shared a pleasant acquaintance before the match may have destroyed that, but cooler heads prevailed and the two men ended the event by shaking hands once again.
“I’ll admit my temper got the better of me,” said Cross. “Dr. Sam Sheppard is a good man and demonstrates some high quality wrestling ability. He is definitely deserving of another shot at the Pride of Kansas City title.”
Other wrestlers gaining victories at the event were Sue Jackson, the Jazz Kings Trio, the team of Tracy Smothers and Zoey Skye, Billy Roc, Mary Elizabeth Monroe, and the Jackson County Jeepers.
