Hey Mad Kanter! Absolutely great reboot / swith of direction my friend. Really liking "the French Connection" team alot. Congrats to John Abraham Lincoln and The Vachons. Also enjoying the twist where you're holding fed tryouts to boot... Excellent stuff! Sorry I haven't been on the boards lately (its a long story). Rock on!

Also enjoying the twist where you're holding fed tryouts to boot... Excellent stuff! Sorry I haven't been on the boards lately (its a long story). Rock on! You were most definitely missed. Glad to hear you're on the mend. With everything I had going on the last couple of months, I wasn't sure when this would happen, but I've settled in to what is my new normal for now, so I got back to it. Glad you like the switch of direction. Still basically the same, but with a few tweaks. I have a plan on how this will play out, so I'm hoping it works out.

AMERICA’S FINEST PRO WRESTLING BARNSTORMING TOUR CIRCA 1920’s SHOW 20 NEW ORLEANS, LA – COLISEUM ARENA (Promoter Marco Epstein is in the center of the ring.) Epstien: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to America’s Finest Pro Wrestling. Today you will see the best pro wrestlers this great country has to offer. An Olympic athlete will attempt to become the Pride of America. A tag team with a grudge will attempt to regain the title they believe is rightfully theirs, America’s Finest. Veterans will clash. Ladies will get in this very ring today and prove they belong as much as the men. Speaking of ladies, that is where we begin today’s action. It’s a match that will surely please all the ladies in the crowd as these four fine specimens mix it up. Rag Time Express (Robert Gibson & Richard Morton) vs. Robert Fulton & Thomas RogersThis fast paced encounter definitely made the ladies in the crowd swoon as these four men showed off their glistening bodies in feats of athletism. Both teams executed multiple tags in the early parts of this back and forth contest, but a sudden back elbow from Gibson allowed him to get a quick pin on Fulton before anyone knew what happened. All four men played to the crowd, especially the women, following the match, raising the ire of some of the men.Gregory Iron vs. Nicholas ValentinoValentino had the early advantage, but his overconfidence bested him as Iron answered with a flurry. After Iron gained two near pinfalls, Valentino recovered and was brutal in his offensive, even using a pair of brass knuckles. Iron was not to be deterred, though, as the action spilled out of the ring. Iron and Valentino brawled uncontrolably around the ring, neither really gaining the upperhand. The brawl went on so long, the ref counted both men out of the ring.‘Ox’ Baker Monroe & Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs. Masked Superstar & ThunderkittyBaker Monroe’s pride and joy was the real star of this match as Mary Elizabeth held her own against both opponents. Superstar did gain the advantage at one point in the match and attempted a move from the top turnbuckle, but collided with the referee in the process. Mary Elizabeth took control while Superstar was distracted. Mary Elizabeth tagged her old man and ‘Ox’ maintained the advantage, eventually pinning superstar following a HEART PUNCH.Bradley Armstrong vs. Isaias VelasquezTwo confident youngsters entered the confines of the squared circle for what everyone hoped was an exciting bout, which it was, if you were a fan of Velasquez. He gained the early advantage and never looked back as he delivered a top rope double stomp followed by the HAMMER OF DAWN, never allowing Armstrong any offensive moves.Matthew Cross vs. Jeff KingBoth men were looking for a much needed victory in this spirited contest. Both men battled back and forth in the opening moments before Cross gained the advantage. Cross wore King down with the BOW AND ARROW, but could not get King to submit. The resiliency by King was on display as Cross continued to batter his grizzled opponent both inside and outside the ring. King began to make a comeback and drew the submission from Cross with a stomach claw, much to the dismay of a frustrated Cross.Allie Cat & Nurse Britt Baker vs. The Glamourous Ones (Judy Martin & Lelani Kai)The Glamourous Ones attacked Allie Cat at the last event and Allie was looking for revenge while getting a little help from her friends. Allie was all over Kai to start things out, but Kai countered and landed a RUNNING SPLASH. Baker entered the ring and interupted the referee’s count, preventing the pin. Kai maintained the advantage and gained several more near falls, but could not keep Allie’s shoulders down for three. Kai tagged Martin, who continued the brutal assault. Allie eventually caught Martin as she attempted a move from the top turnbuckle and threw her to the mat. Allie finally made the tag and Baker entered the ring a house afire. Baker was all over Martin, but Baker eventually lost some steam and Martin capitalized. The Glamourous Ones began to work over Baker, utilizing multiple quick tags. Martin pinned Baker after a POWERBOMB. After the match Allie attacked Martin. Kai came to her partner’s aid, but was intercepted by Baker and all four ladies brawled until the fight was broken up by several referees.‘Big’ Sue Jackson w/Heidi The Riveter vs. Edward GilbertJackson was looking to put this feud to rest once and for all. Gilbert allowed himself to continuously be distracted by Heidi at ringside, allowing Jackson to completely dominate the match. The action spilled out of the ring and Gilbert was finally able to gain the advantage. Back in the ring Gilbert delivered back to back HOT SHOTS and went for the pin. Heidi entered the ring and broke up the pin attempt. Gilbert turned his attention to Heidi, trapping her in a corner. The referee was distracted by Jackson and Heidi kicked Gilbert in the groin. Jackson delivered the CLOSE SHAVE and made the pin.AMERICA’S BEST TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS The Jackson County Jeepers (Clean & Jerk) vs. America’s Best Tag Team Champions Maurice & Paul VachonThe Jeepers defintely had a chip on their shoulder entering this match. This was a brutal brawl from the opening bell. The action broke down quickly with all four men brawling outside the ring. The referee was left no choice but to count both Clean and Maurice out. As a result of the count out The Vachons remain champions.PRIDE OF AMERICA TITLE MATCH Robert Roop vs. Pride of America John Abraham Lincoln w/Shane DouglasBoth men looked to be all business, but still started out with a handshake. Roop gained the advantage early and used a methodical pace, attempting to wear down the champ with multiple body scissors and a full nelson. After Roop gained a couple near falls Lincoln made a comeback and used a full nelson of his own. Roop regained the advantage and gained a near fall after a piledriver. Roop seemed to grow frustrated as the action spilled out of the ring. Roop grabbed a chair and the referee attempted to keep him from using it. Roop shoved the ref out of the way, but before he could use the chair, Douglas took it from him. Roop and Douglas nearly came to blows, but the referee was able to get them separated before anything could happen. Back in the ring Roop delivered a SHOULDER BREAKER and nearly pinned Lincoln, but Douglas was able to put Lincoln’s foot on the bottom rope without the referee seeing to break the count. Roop continued his methodical assault, using multiple holds in an attempt to take all the steam out of the champ and put him away. Lincoln proved resilient and fought back. Lincoln was able to get the victory following two headlock throws.(Roop was unhappy following the match, complaining to the referee about a fast count. Douglas interjected himself and again nearly came to blows with Roop. Lincoln was able to get between the two, preventing anything from happening. Lincoln offered his hand to Roop, which Roop reluctantly shook in a sign of sportsmanship. Epstein entered the ring and presented the Pride of America belt to Lincoln. Douglas raised Lincoln’s hand in victory, eliciting a rousing cheer from the fans before Epstein addressed the crowd.) Epstein: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming out today. I hope you enjoyed the matches we presented today, but it is time for us to move on down the road. Next up on our tour is Memphis. Thank you for your hospitality and hopefully we’ll be back this way again some day.

Roop was robbed there. Clearly Shane needs to go. Nice win by Jackson. Roop will definitely get a rematch. You're probably going to be disappointed with Shane. Jackson is a one man wrecking crew with Heidi by his side.

LOCALS JOINING THE TROUPE Shane Douglas - One of six children whose father was killed in World War I. Still reeling from his father’s death, Douglas is looking for direction and may have found it when Epstein added him to his troupe. Robert Roop - Greco-Roman wrestler who was a favorite to compete at the 1920 Olympic Games until a freak training injury cut his dream short. Roop believes he can compete with the best in the world, but will take consolation of competing with the best in Epstein’s troupe. Rag Time Express (Robert Gibson & Richard Morton) - The ladies love these two life long friends that spent a lot of their free time in Southern sporting houses as young men, where they became fans of a musical styling that seems to have become a waning interest in American culture. Gibson and Morton love the ladies … they love rag time … and now they’re learning to love wrestling.
