Inside a boardroom at VX Promotions Headquarters. Seated at a conference table are top leaders of the different factions in the GWF. Omega. Lord Nexus. Beast-Rider. Thantos. Exo-King. Invincible Krakan. At the head of the table are VX and Thakur.

"Some of you are not happy with this decision," VX said. "Your objections have been duly noted. Here are the facts. The Deimos Intergalactic Arena will not host this event. The idea of eight Cosmic Cage Matches in one show is too violent for their standards. They are afraid of repercussions from the UFSP. Same goes for the holovision networks. However, Men of Steel will take place. At the Aethra War Dome!"

Omega quickly objected. "We can not allow this to happen. The precedent...."

"You would prefer the GWF return to a fledgling operation? You know that we need financial capital to grow. That's why you came to me. Now, this will be held via pay-per cast! No home in the galaxy will be exposed to this violence that doesn't chooseto do so. And make no mistake. The UFSP is going to tax us heavily for this event. But it will succeed! We will make sure of it. All of you. The wrestlers. Will make it a success. Just like you did at Deimos Perennial."

Brute and Massacre came in and beat on Vanity and Killer Queen, taking turns on which opponent they would abuse until Vanity and Killer Queen had enough and just ran away.

VX smirks as he leaves. Infuriated, the Gladiators destroy the interview set.

VANITY AND KILLER QUEEN VS INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT
A surprise as Vanity pinned Invincible Krakan following the PULVERIZER.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH: VANITY AND KILLER QUEEN

Before the next match, the Gladiators came out and warned VX to give them a title match at Men of Steel or "someone will end up a cripple and it will be your fault".

Brute pinned Death Knight following the DECAPITATOR.

Executioner and Ghengis Khan came out for their next match. As they were in the ring, VX came out and announced that Executioner would challenge Wolf for the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship at Men of Steel. A furious Thantos stormed out but VX walked away as Thantos stared daggers at one of his top henchmen.

THE GREEK GODS VS EXECUTIONER AND GHENGIS KHAN
Proteus pinned Executioner following the OVERHEAD TOSS.

Proteus pinned Executioner so he should get the title match or the winner of the match. If I was a wrestler in the fed I'd be pressuring VX to give the Gladiators what they want. You know for their own protection.

As Sordon Golie was introducing the show, Brute and Massacre came out, carrying the limp body of Pulsar. They threw Pulsar in the ring and Brute gave him the DECAPITATOR.

MASSACRE: We will break his neck if we don't get a title match at Men of Steel!

Brute hit another DECAPITATOR.

Suddenly, Mutant charged the ring. To attack Pulsar one would assume. But Massacre grabbed Mutant and threw him into the ring.

MASSACRE VS MUTANT
Mutant is disqualified when Lord Nexus and Pit Viper hit the ring to attack the Gladiators.
WINNER OF THE MATCH AS A RESULT OF A DISQUALIFICATION: MASSACRE

Massacre and Brute threatened to piledrive Pulsar on the concrete floor.

NEXUS: Stop! You get your match! We give you a verbal contract.

Exo-King then came out.

KING: Look at you Gladiators! Thinking you are the biggest bullies in the GWF! Wrong! I'm the biggest bully in the GWF!

BRUTE: You want some? Come get some!

BRUTE VS EXO-KING
Brute countered a shoulder breaker and hit the Gladiator piledriver and scored the three count.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: BRUTE

The Titans escaped with Pulsar as the Brute-Exo-King match took place.

OMEGA VS DEATH KNIGHT
Death Knight pinned Omega following the COSMIC LANCE.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: DEATH KNIGHT

VX was seen watching the monitor.

VX: People need to be reminded who runs things around here. And they will be reminded next week!
