Little did I suspect when I started this thread that, two months afterward, I would have exactly what I wanted. But I underestimated the talent and generosity of this community, particularly he who calls himself toasterboy. I ordered the oversized mat with stitched edging, using the picture of the wrestling ring. Because I thought the pic was a tad too dark, I vivified it using FotoSketcher. I received the mat last night and it exceeds my expectations. For those who, like me, kick it old school with cards and dice on the tabletop, this is a fantastic enhancement to the game experience. I cannot praise or thank Grant enough. Seconded! After many weeks of playing on my game mat my only suggestion on a V2 design would to put the boxes for the cards at the bottom and the zones for tokens up top. Basically flip the design. Sometimes my forearms get in the way of the token zones when I’m rolling on the game cards above them. Maybe we can get Grant to work his magic and draw up something with these alterations in mind. |

I have the sticker too. I believe it came in one of the collector packs back in the day.

I just wanted to bump this thread and remind fans what an incredible add on this game mat is. It has easily been the best thing to happen to my game in years. Last night I played all night without disturbing anyone in the house thanks to rolling dice on my mat.
For anyone still on the fence about it you're missing out!

It definitely made playing the game a lot easier for me, so I second everything said here. I also keep track of some stuff that no one else does, and the mat handles that as well. Ordered this about a week ago and got it the day after my birthday. Happy Birthday to me!! I love this thing. I do have a question. I'd like to keep some basic charts attached to the mat itself. I've tried sticky notes between the distractor and outside interference sections, but they come off when you roll it up.
Does anyone else do this and if so, what do you do?

I have to say, this mat is amazing. If you haven't gotten it, it really adds to game play.
I'm thinking about having it laminated. Has anyone else done that? How expensive was it and were you happy with the results?
