Also, I stack my teams, with the in ring wrestler's card atop the stack. Me too!

I have started work on a "DM screen" type product that contains all of the charts, so the playmat could have more of the elements like chart supremo & Grant have been working on. I’d love to see how this works for you. I ordered this: www.amazon.com/Worlds-Greatest-Screen-Landscape-Horizontal/dp/1591800463Which is great, does what it says, all the charts fit in it. But after using it a bit, I felt that since most of the game is spent looking down at the table, something that would raise the cards off the table at an angle might be better as opposed to the cards standing straight up off the table. I don’t know. That could all be personal preference. So did you put the wrestler cards in it too? I was only thinking of making something for the charts. I'd agree that standing the playing cards up would be bothersome. The project I was working on was the charts in one place, on one side of a bi-fold. It would just be outcomes, not descriptors. For example, if you rolled "2" on Ropes with an "A", it would say "OFF ROLLS PIN", to explain the sunset flip that the defensive wrestler hits on the offensive wrestler. It probably wouldn't be good for new players, but for folks who have played a long time and improvise/exchange the actual moves, not outcomes, on the charts, it would be fine.

Inked Gaming is exactly the company I had in mind. Agree with Chad's approach. The objective would be a high quality PDF or other image file a promoter could download, then print at home or send to a professional printer or maker of play mats. When it comes to fatigue, etc., you don't need multiple tracks crowding the board. In tag matches, you can represent different partners with different colored pawns or chips on a single track. I do that now. Also, I stack my teams, with the in ring wrestler's card atop the stack. Different pawns around a track...very edgy, and I like it. I don't stack my teams, but put the partners off to the side in a "corner". I actually touch my hands together when a tag is made...lol.

I didn’t put the wrestler cards in there, just the charts to display them in front of me but standing them straight up made it a little weird. For D&D and the like when you are looking across the table at other players, it’s great, but I find not so much for FG games. Love your streamlined charts idea. One of my suggestions for a reworking of the more recent color, charts would be to put the result instruction (OFF ROLLS PIN) in bold to make them stand out better. They are in Caps, but they just get lost on that background.

"I actually touch my hands together when a tag is made...lol." That is AWESOME!!! I thought I was the only person who did that. I also make the three count when someone gets pinned.

Thanks. Hmmmm. I may take a crack at an initial layout and then get someone better with design (Werner/Osk) to spruce it up. So... What would you want to see on a gameboard/play mat? Fatigue (x 4 - more?) Interference Distractor Double Team Pin Saves I'll officially throw my vote in that mix for Mike M . He nailed LOW and Online, no doubt he would nail this project too. With that said, one of the greatest selling features of this game is it's lack of bulk. It's compact, take your cards, charts and dice anywhere and roll out some matches. Now I am not RPG guy. I just play FG. For hardcore RPG guy I can totally see the attraction to a game mat. It's up to you, promoter!

This is a great idea...it would be cool to have, but I also like the sound of the dice rattling on the table/desk while playing.
The DM screen for charts is something I have been thinking about for a while, just haven't pulled the cord on getting one yet.
This is the stuff that makes this community great...all the ideas and sharing...great stuff.

I would order a game mat if we have a good layout.
I have all my charts on a piece of poster board and use a book holder to hold it.
