Do you play the game online or with the physical cards?

Long time physical player, since 1991 or 1992 I believe. I'm not current though getting ready to start 2131.
I've thought about playing online because it would be easier to catch up but I like owning the cards and to be honest I have a hard time justifying to myself or my wife spending money on cards that I technically already own.
