I currently have nearly 300 wrestlers in my online game. I want to choose randomly who to bring in. Then their performance will dictate how long they stay.
Anyone have a good method for doing this? Currently I find myself using the first 50-75 cards and little else. Any help would be awesome!!

I created a list and used random.org.
Your question made me think of a fed I used to run in as far that's related to your train of thought on performance dictating how long they stay.
In that fed, once a wrestler lost three times, they were out.
It kept it really fresh in as far as having to rotate wrestlers from your collection in and out of it.
Kind of a win to stay in approach.

I really like both of these ideas. Do you mean 3 times total, or three times in row? Is there an easy way to generate this list, or do you just type it out? Like I said, I have nearly 300 wrestlers so far.

I don't use online just printed cards .
But using saying the Legends cards . The higher rated wrestlers like main eventers usually go in LWF or Anarchy In The UK . Mid carders/jobbers in WCW .

But you could do any amount in this fashion, 5, 10 - and three in a row could be interesting too! That's cool. Still 3 strikes but they have a chance to save themselves. I really like that idea. I'm a table top player so it was a little easier for me and I think after a while I just put them in a stack and ran random.org. Is there a way to print out from on line who you have? (Not sure cause I've never played the online version).

I've implemented the 3 strikes system for my Lone Star Wrestling fed and it seems like it's adding drama to matches that might not have any otherwise. I've added a couple of wrinkles to it, let me know what you think. 1. If you win a title, that resets your strike count to zero for as long as you hold the belt. 2. DQ's and countouts don't count as strikes 3. I have a tournament as part of my supercards where the winner gets his strike count reset to zero. I've already had Strangler Lewis forced to leave after 3 upset losses and JT lightning be saved by a countout. It seems like a pretty cool system so for.

Very glad its working out. That's true, it does add a certain intensity that may not always be there. Really like your tweaks - totally make sense. There was one more wrinkle I had forgotten to mention, for title match losses, I didn't charge them a strike either. Also used to have an occassional battle royal with all of the wrestlers who "struck out" and the winner would get another clean state and start. Rockin tweaks that you came up with man!

I was thinking about making title matches not count. I think I'll implement that. The first tournament where points are reset should be up today. It'll be interesting to see how it goes.
