I've been reading through some of the other feds, looking for ideas to spice mine up (without actually stealing anything, of course) I keep seeing the sinclairverse referring to a Tier System. Can someone explain to me how that works?
Thanks

I dont know anything about a Tier System, but did just want to say one thing... Don't be afraid of taking something you see one of us doing and put your own twist to it. Even in real wrestling they take things someone does and tweek it a bit to fit their own personality.

Thanks for that advice, aplex. I'm playing with the idea of a tiered/leveled fed system for my fed. This post was to make sure I don't step on someones toes, and also get any advice that someone was willing to give.
I really appreciate it.

The system I've been kicking around would involve the Rahl ratings system. This is just throwing numbers out there, but something like:
Curtain jerkers: 0-15 Lower Midcard: 16-25 Midcard: 26-35 Upper midcard: 36-45 Main Event: 46+

I know people have said they would do something similar to things I have done in my fed and I take it as a compliment. Part of the reason I post is it might give others ideas. It is also why I read other feds.

I've been reading through some of the other feds, looking for ideas to spice mine up (without actually stealing anything, of course) I keep seeing the sinclairverse referring to a Tier System. Can someone explain to me how that works? Thanks You could start with two feds: the first is made of your best wrestlers, the second is the rest of them. Tier works where you play out some cards (say 10?) and the best from your "minor fed" move up, while the worst from your "major fed" move down, just like in baseball. You can have any number of wrestlers move up / down, it's up to you! This includes tag teams. WWE does this where NXT is their minor fed (farm league) and WWE is the major fed. Another example is the video game series "Blitz the League". That had 3 tiers (divisions) of teams where, at the end of the season, the winners of the lower divisions' championships moved up one division the following year, while the teams with the worst records of the two higher divisions moved down one division. I hope that explains tiers better.
