This was from New Japan. The archetypal story of 'student vs teacher'. The match starts with a handshake...but when the competitive fires burst aflame...will it end that way? Inoki and Fujinami were two of the Founding Fathers of NJPW yet were always pegged at different tiers. TF was credited with 'inventing' the Dragon Suplex and Dragon Sleeper and he learned a great deal from his mentor. Watch to find out if the aging legend still has a few tricks up his sleeve in this scientific classic. This was from World of Sport and was contested at a Catch Weight under a max of eight rounds at five minutes. Sammy Lee was the touring persona of a young Satoru Sayama. SS would later go on to perfect his skills in New Japan as the Original Tiger Mask...fusing the mat work he learned from the UK circuit with high end acrobatics. Cry Baby Jimmy Breaks was a perennial Middleweight Champion and easily ranks as one of the great heels of British pro wres history. JB was able to effectively project a mix of dramatic/comedic ring theatrics with a very high level of technical proficiency. Make note of Breaks' post match antics. A good glimpse of both.
