I read this today about the Undertaker possibly starting his own podcast in the future:
In a bit of curious news, PWInsider is reporting that Starrcast, LLC has filed a trade for “Dead Man Talking”. It is an obvious reference to The Undertaker and while it is common knowledge that he will be appearing at Starrcast II in a couple of months during “Double Or Nothing” weekend, it’s not a guarantee that the trademark is strictly in relation to that event.
The official description for the filing notes the “Dead Man Talking” is for Goods and Services, specifically, “Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, providing podcasts in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment; Entertainment services, namely, providing video podcasts in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”
What’s most interesting about the abovementioned description is that it references Podcasts. This could very well be an indication that The Undertaker is going to venture into the podcast world alongside Conrad Thompson, the promoter of Starrcast. There are an endless number of former wrestling personalities that have made the transition into podcast – Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Jim Ross & Eric Bischoff to name a few. Thus, it is not entirely out of the question that The Undertaker plans to do the same.
