Now we can only hope that when DBS Jr. signed, we also got daddy for LOW. *fingers crossed*
Either way, I really want this set.

So happy we are getting him in the game. I don't know why but I thought he might be a pipe dream. Great wrestler! Hope we end up with his pops in the game as well!

Bulldog Jr. pretty much guarantees I'll buy this set at some point.

I might be in the minority but I don’t think Teddy Hart and Smith Jr. represent the best of Canadian “Indy” wrestling. They are Canadian born independent wrestlers who make their living overseas or in the USA. There is a wealth of Indy talent based in southern Ontario alone not to mention in other provinces. I was hoping to see some of that talent featured.

It is no different than the Best of the UK set as Zack Sabre Jr. mostly wrestles in Japan but he was included in the set as he was born in England. Also, if a wrestler is not Canadian (although if I remember correctly all 8 wrestlers in this set were born in Canada) but still having lots of success in Canada then technically they also could be considered for inclusion. For example, Travis Banks is from New Zealand but was included in the Best of the UK set last year as he was the current PROGRESS World Champion at the time his card was created.

In the end, the set exists mostly to get these names out in a timely fashion instead of relying on deals with one of the promotions which they work.

RD Evans is Canadian. That would be cool.
