I saw the sad news that Dick Beyer aka The Destroyer passed away. I met him a couple of times at Wrestle Reunion and the CAC and enjoyed reading his book.

Man, Grim Reaper is working too hard and needs a vacation. RIP Destroyer. Was a pleasure to meet you and watch you cheer yourself on in a tournament.

The Destroyer was so cool at Galacticon. I got his bobblehead there! I also had an old comic book, forget the name, it did a history of wrestling story. The Destroyer was on the cover and inside. I was going to ask him to sign it but he liked it so I gave it to him. Another legend lost.

Shitty! He was a cool dude. Real nice family too. I saw him almost weekly for years, as his family were regulars at a restaurant/bar I worked at. He gave me a Destroyer shirt after I told him I was a fan of his work. He will surely be missed.
