The Road Warriors are definitely in a grove now! The women's division is starting to get next level for sure. That was a slick move by Jannety - Nice! I think that was my favorite part of the night. Suprised that Gorgeous George took his match two falls to none against Lou Thesz. They bamboozled him! Macho Man gets it done securing the Madness! Great card Pariah!

Great supercard. Jannetty and Casey with the surprise win, sounds like it was a perfect little lower-card tag match to get the crowd going with the baby faces going over. The DQ finish is actually a bit convenient to keep the Race/DiBiase feud going. It's been one of the one's I'm most interested in in following the fed. Love the drama to the women's match. Martel/Hosaka in the future? Interested to see the Sensational One's title run. I imagine she could hang on to that belt for quite a while. Hard to be completely shocked about George's win over Thesz; his card is pretty tough. But it is a bit of a shock that it was in two straight falls. How will the legendary Thesz deal with this defeat? What's George's trajectory from here? Will we get a Gorgeous vs Macho feud? That would sell some tickets... Tag title match sounds like it was a lot of fun to roll as I can imagine Lynn and RVD putting on quite the show before the Road Warriors take care of business. Gordy makes a fool of Snuka? Gordy's the man. I'm okay with this result, haha. Bamm Bamm vs Macho could be another very interesting feud and dynamic... Speaking of: the Reign of Madness is going to be a hard one to stop. Looking forward to seeing who steps up next, but also looking forward to a nice long run from Savage. Good stuff Pariah! Thanks for sharing.

Totally appreciate the awesome feedback, barflymike4ever, TTX, Crossbones, Bri and Sam Fain... Lately, I've been focusing on my indy fed reboot... But, I realize that I'm being totally unfair to Macho Man and the Sensational One... Time to start working on the next round of CFW shows... Many thanks!

COASTAL FRONTIER WRESTLING CFW LiveWire #20 (01-May-17) from New York, NY
- Backstage - Commissioner Lou Albano unveiled the brand new CFW Horizon Network Championship belt. Over the next four weeks, seven qualifying matches would be held to determine the participants of a Ten Man Battle Royal that will take place at CFW New Horizon. The winner of the Battle Royal will be declared the first CFW Horizon Network Champion. Based on previous accomplishments, three competitors have gained automatic entry into the competition - 'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka, 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase and Handsome Harley Race.
Brutus Beefcake (w/ Rock Riddle & Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine) defeated Bobo Brazil in a CFW Horizon Network Championship Battle Royal qualifying match. - Beefcake gained the submission (snake eyes) with a SLEEPER. -- Tokens: Beefcake 2 - Beefcake caught Brazil as he was scaling the turnbuckles to attempt a high risk move and quickly capitalized on the opportunity. After the match, things spiraled completely out of control. Riddle and Valentine held Brazil down as Beefcake used clippers to shave him bald! As soon as he recovered from the humiliation, Brazil grabbed a steel chair and went on a rampage! Beefcake was unable to escape his victim's wrath and needed immediate medical attention. (Beefcake out for 2 cards.)
King Kong Bundy defeated 'The Rocker' Marty Jannetty in a CFW Horizon Network Championship Battle Royal qualifying match. - Bundy scored the pinfall with a body slam. -- Tokens: Bundy 1 - Jannetty 2 - Diamond Dallas Page commented that Bundy's size would make him an instant favorite to win the Battle Royal at CFW New Horizon.
- In The Ring - 'Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers proclaimed that he was the only individual worthy of the CFW Global Heavyweight Championship. Deciding it was time to shake things up, Commissioner Albano announced that tonight's main event would be a match to decide a new number one contender for the CFW Global Heavyweight Championship. Coming off a major victory at CFW Madness Reigns, Terry 'Bamm Bamm' Gordy would face Bruiser Brody and the winner would receive the coveted title shot. Rogers was obviously not pleased as he stormed away from the ring.
Suicide Blondes (Chris Candido & Curt Hennig) versus Chaz & Tugboat Taylor resulted in a no contest. - Making their first appearance with the company, the Taylors interrupted Candido and Hennig during a lengthy introduction speech. This led to a wild brawl and the referee was unable to officially start the match.
- In The Ring - Both members of The F'n Show, Jerry Lynn and Rob Van Dam, offer respect to the Road Warriors for retaining the CFW Global Tag Team Championship at CFW Madness Reigns, but also demand compensation for a botched call by the referee that possibly cost them a chance at wearing the gold. Commissioner Albano says their complaint is valid and promises to investigate the matter. In the meantime, Rob Van Dam will face Road Warrior Hawk in singles competition next week!
Terry 'Bamm Bamm' Gordy defeated Bruiser Brody. - Gordy scored the pinfall with a POWERBOMB. -- Tokens: Brody 1 - 'Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers joined Diamond Dallas Page and Malia Hosaka at ringside to provide guest commentary for this match. Still frustrated that he was not going to receive a title rematch at CFW New Horizon, he became quite vocal and the referee had to warn him several times to stay out of the way. During one of these brief distractions, Gordy stunned Brody with a low blow. Brody blamed Rogers for missing his chance for a shot at the CFW Global Heavyweight Championship and chased him into the backstage area!
- Next week - Rob Van Dam faces off against one half of the CFW World Tag Team Champions, Road Warrior Hawk.
