Big win by Gordy knocking off Brody. Suicide Blondes are a fun team. It took a couple of cheap shots outside the ring, but Gordy got the job done... Brody fails to snag himself a title shot once again... Gonna give Larry Hennig some time off and I thought Candido would make a suitable partner for Mr Perfect... The only way I could possibly fathom this happening was that Buddy Rogers was causing problems at ringside... RVD and Jerry Lynn want another crack at the tag belts... So they need to impress the championship committee any way they can - If RVD can score a clean victory over Hawk, it will not go unnoticed... If he can't get the job done... Let's just cross that booking bridge when we reach it!  |

Terry Gordy with a huge win over Bruiser Brody, coming after another huge win over Jimmy Snuka, meaning he could be challenging the "Macho Man" soon. I loved seeing Sherri Martel take the women's title from Trish Stratus, Martel has long been one of my favorites. Candido and Hennig make for an interesting tag team. Great action all around in this rising fed.

Terry Gordy with a huge win over Bruiser Brody, coming after another huge win over Jimmy Snuka, meaning he could be challenging the "Macho Man" soon. I loved seeing Sherri Martel take the women's title from Trish Stratus, Martel has long been one of my favorites. Candido and Hennig make for an interesting tag team. Great action all around in this rising fed. No more could about it, my friend... Gordy secured his place as number one contender and WILL challenge Macho Man at CFW New Horizon...
