Las Vegas takes a 1-0 series lead against Sacramento!

Sacramento just lost 1 of its only 2 home games in this 5 game playoff series.

Mark Payton had a good game tonight. I really have no idea why the As, who are fighting for a Wild Card spot, did not call up Mark Payton- he hit .334, 30 home runs, and 97 RBIs this year. But whatever, I am glad he is still an Aviator for the playoffs.

Las Vegas took a 2-1 series lead tonight as Jesus Lazardo (who entered the season as the As top pitching prospect) pitched well in leading us to a victory. Las Vegas is now currently up 2-1 (last night when I was at Sam's Town watching the Impact TV tapings the Aviators lost in a slugfest to Sacramento.)

Las Vegas now will either win this series tomorrow (Saturday) or it will go to Game 5 on Sunday for which I have a ticket if necessary.

unfortunately Las Vegas lost tonight to Sacramento, series is tied 2-2 with the deciding Game 5 tomorrow and I am have a ticket to go to the game

I have been in Las Vegas for 20 years (August 1999) and in that time period we have never won a AAA playoff series (in fact Las Vegas has not won a AAA playoff series in 31 years since 1988.) Tomorrow it is do or die. Lets go Aviators!
