When I put wrestling on in the bar I work at, people always bitch about the same thing, all the talking segments. Asking, “what’s going on”, “do they still wrestle”, “how do you watch this %#*£?” And of course I am told that it’s not real about 99% of the time

Literally everything else is scripted. Including political programming.

I have fun watching most WWE ppvs but their weekly shows are unwatchable. Too many commercials, too many shows beginning with someone talking in the ring (an outdated model), too much talking segments in general. Keep the talking stuff for backstage segments. The ring is for wrestling. Maybe this new Fox deal will produce tv programs to be more like the PPVs. Focus on in ring action, titles etc. Even though they are still sticking to their formula, WWE wasn't bad this week. I hope they keep "shaking things up." I never feel the need to keep watching if I get bored. I walked away from MITB a few times. I even turned off the main event last night. Kofi vs Ziggler is one of the absolute worst world title programs in the history of wrestling. I can’t tell what the Kofi character is supposed to be. Is he a goofy comedy character? Is he an anti establishment character? He goes back and forth in the same segment. I like him once he begins to wrestle though. And Ziggler is just awful in every way. This is at best a US title program. Having two “world” champions is silly.

WrestleMania would have been the perfect time to give him his old "SOS" theme song back and have him begin to be at least a little bit more serious.

I like Kofi when he wrestles... that's it. I would really like a Big E title run. Dolph... I just need him to go away. Isn't he in the picture because Owens refuses to go to Saudi Arabia?

Does Kevin Owens tweet? Does he know a Saudi Prince owns it? The whole refusing to work in Saudi Arabia thing is strange to me. Never let your political or religious differences conflict with your paycheck. Nike, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, several banks and many other popular companies in America work with or are owned by Saudi Arabia. It’s just business. I don’t see these wrestlers refusing to tweet.

Exactly. As an educator, I'm currently following the legislative session right now. I can keep my morals and vote based on what can harm my paycheck. I believe Undertaker told Jericho one time to do the match with Fandango because it was his job. I feel these guys should have to do their job, even if they don't agree. That's life.

This era we are currently in where wrestlers go on social media and complain about their pushes is killing wrestling. These people spend 15 minutes a week IN character and 6 days a week online OUT of character breaking kayfabe. Then they all wonder why they aren’t over and Vince keeps bringing Brock back. Is Brock on Twitter? Nope.

Is Brock on Twitter? Nope. Brock is the most believable wrestler in WWE. More importantly he’s the most believable “character” in wrestling. Some fans really think the dude “has no respect for the sport!” and tries to hurt other wrestlers yadda yadda. The dude is so money he gets more heat for NOT being on a card than every heel ON the card combined. And he’s the only wrestler not suffering from over exposure because he doesn’t wrestle on every show.
