Not perfect, but better than any PPV Vince has put on in years. Not NXT level, but damn good. Who would’ve thought that Cody v Dustin would be a MOTY candidate?

When Cody is motivated, he can be incredible, but the problem is he's rarely motivated. Dustin was a bit surprising how much he can still go at his age, but great for them for doing such a match.

They just need a “Real” reboot & soon before they flop on FOX, & that certainly wouldn’t be good for wrestling. a reboot on FOX would be the perfect time to change it up for WWE. They also have a couple more Marquee events to work through to show that they can change things up to get better. I'm not sure how they (WWE) feel going forward, maybe they aren't worried about it? Maybe they should be? Apples and Oranges. |

Dustin really showed a lot of new innovation in his offense. Makes you wonder what took him so long? And for one, he's probably in the best shape of his life right now, at 50!? Really slimmed down, gotten more athletic. |

If only Brock could be a full timer. That would be great (& probably help a lot)! His matches have that feel where u don’t know what’s gonna happen. Like a Tyson fight.

the battle royal in the preshow had some interesting people.
the throne thing was a fire back for all the DX comments in the HOF.
I was more focused on the matches which were better than the last 3-4 wwe PPV's.

I mean...I would have expected a high level match from Cody vs. Dustin because Dustin's an all time great and Cody's competent as a worker and smart enough to know to let Dustin lead. Also would disagree that the show wasn't NXT level, this show was significantly better than any Takeover show in a long time. |

I’m probably taking Gargano/Ciampa , Shinsuke/Generico and the old tag division into account (none really recent) and might be partial to some of NXTs roster over the years.
Your probably right. NXT has less matches and doesn’t feel as grand as Double or Nothing did.
Cody is pretty underrated and always does a real good job in big matches. Dustin’s age had me thinking it would be good, just didn’t expect great. Was always a fan of Dustin. Cody certainly made me one over the last few years as well.
