I got my copy of this set today in Seattle where I am visiting family for a few days.
Although I play more with Indy and LOW releases, I also play COTG and I think this set looks awesome. As I have said before, I have been a big fan of Mike M’s work for the past 15 years with his Early Classics and Wrestlemania IV sets, so I am excited to play with this set too. Upon looking over the cards, I think I like Mister Centra the best (but they all look great!)

I’m w Dave on a lot of what he says, especially w/ Revolver. He looks like a ninja & has a gun. Also, Figure Four doesn’t fit. I picture a fast attack move for him. Lord Nexus w the Jerry Lawler fist drop for a finisher.

3. Lance At-Las
4. Mr.Centra
5. Doomsayer
Lord Nexus would probably be on here, but I don’t like when guys have the same name as someone in my history already (& I’m still using). I’ll ptobably have him by Scion or Stellar.

Yes, though all we knew about the original Tortured Soul was that he was from Brymstone and not much else.

Loving 99.9% of the whole set. What I am not loving is the given tag team name for US. Traitor and Darkest Justice. The Squad, sounds like something should be added in front of squad to make the team sound slightly more dynamic. Any suggestions? I thought of maybe calling them the Shock Squad but I am sure someone probably has better ideas

I’m not bashing anyone’s opinion, but I like everything about Revolver. I will with you, Dustin! Revolver is one of my early favorites of the set, honestly. Loving Fraternity and Mister Centra as well. Working on laying out my "TV" for the next few cards and will definitely be giving Revolver some action. The third eye on his mask does make me wonder about his true loyalties and backgrounds, tho... |
