So the next $50 PPV they're running will be All Out on 8/31 at the Sears Centre in Chicago, and that's where the Adam Page/Chris Jericho world title match will take place. The Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen shows will be iPPVs, but not 'big' PPVs meaning they're probably BR Live exclusive and hopefully won't be $50.

I can’t decide if making Jericho the first champ is TNA or not. I don’t think Adam Page is the guy tho.

I think giving Jericho the belt will bring more eyeballs in when AEW starts its show on TNT, but I don’t think he should hold the title long. If he has to cheat to beat Page it will elevate Page even more and establish him as a threat until ready.

Its an interesting choice here by AEW. In most senses it makes sense for Jericho to be the champ has far as getting attention, etc. The one big argument against it is the whole point of AEW is to give new guys opportunities. Will be interesting to see what route they go. But pressed to give an answer I would lean Hangman.

If he has to cheat to beat Page it will elevate Page even more and establish him as a threat until ready. I’m leaning toward wanting to see him win. He’s kind of the flag ship guy that allowed all this to happen to begin with (along w Cody). And even though it’s tough to watch him become anti WWE guy he’s still one of my all time favorite wrestlers. Now if it was Jericho vs Omega I would say Omega. Page seems like a good guy to chase the belt awhile and build up his character.

As long as they tell good stories, it doesn't matter who the first champ is. Hangman or Jericho, I'm sure it'll make sense.
