Card 9 – Mecatoid Megadome:
Carnage champ, Minister of War crushed Lance At-Las in a Titan Death match. Fans are stunned as Minister of War finishes the popular Commissioner in just three moves. Lance goes down very easily and is a sitting duck for AETHRAN MASSACRE. Rumours circulate that Lance may have been beaten up before the match with Total Anarchy as the chief suspect.
Lord Nexus defeated Tortured Soul in a non-title match. After the maddening scenes from Cronk’s show this was set up to be a highly charged affair. Lord Nexus proudly wears his belt to the ring even though it is not on the line. When the bell rings he is taken aback by Tortured Soul’s instinctive intensity and needs a while to settle down. The fans needn’t of worried. Once Lord Nexus gets into his rhythm he shows all his usual wrestling style and is able to end on THE APEX.
Star Slayer gets a fortunate win against Mister Centra by DQ. Build up banter with Mister Centra being a wind up merchant saying he is scraping the bottom of the barrel by having to step into the ring with Star Slayer. The response is brisk from Star Slayer who vows to introduce Mister Centra to the bottom of his rifle for such insults. Once they get down the business Mister Centra is looking back to his best and is dominating. He is able to use ‘Can You Feel It?’ and soon after VECTOR ONE VERVE (+4) follows but is totally dismayed when Star Slayer somehow gets a foot on the ropes to avoide getting pinned. The inner rage within Mister Centra boils up that Star Slayer has shown him up. Continues unloading punishment with Forced Eviction a couple of times. Star Slayer bails outside under the extreme barrage and Mister Centra’s temper continues to rise. The antics of Star Slayer leads him to follow and grab the nearest chair with which to put across Star Slayer’s back. Mister Centra knows he is going to be disqualified so he spits on the fallen Star Slayer and stomps away from the scene. He gets pelted by the fans as he makes his way back up the runway.
Nebula gets a big win over Total Anarchy. Oracle fumes over Fraternity’s actions on IMPACT and sends Anarchy on a revenge mission against Nebula. Publicly admonishing their actions “they should be thrown out of the CWF for what they did. I had nothing to do with what happened to their beloved Cronk Walters. Prophesy is a good and honest team. People need to understand that I am a saviour. My powers to foresee events should be embraced and not feared”. Nebula scoffs at what he calls hollow words and sets about taking down Anarchy which he does with surprising efficiency. He clamps CETUS SLEEPER very early and although it doesn’t sufficiently wear Anarchy down at first he sticks with it. Repeated applications (lots of them) eventually put Anarchy’s light out. Nebula wastes no time in the aftermath suggesting Oracle should now step in the ring with him. When Oracle fails to respond it is because he is running scared according to Nebula.
Firing Squad overcome Cringe and Grovel. The team whose name keeps changing handles the primitives reasonably well. Darkest Justice taking out Grovel with SHOCK PROBATION.
Saboteur beats Splatter by DQ. Saboteur continues to punch above his weight as he is the better man here. Splatter draws the disqualification for repeated brawling.

Card 10 – Mecatoid Megadome:
Tag champs, Reckoning, beat Slaughterhouse by DQ to hold onto the belts. What a match up. Where to start? Will struggle to do it justice but to summarise the highlights. Reckoning should of won it early. Doomsayer uses BRAIN GAMES on Splatter and surely would of pinned him if not for Magnus Colby providing a crucial intervention. Revolver and Mayhem then take centre stage. Revolver managing to get Mayhem into his feared FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK who then dramatically survives the hold. It’s then Mayhem’s turn to come close as he connects with LEAP OF DOOM but Revolver is determined not to lose his team’s grip on the titles and somehow summons the energy to provide a kick out. It’s anybody’s match but it doesn’t get the ending it deserved. After plenty more action Mayhem loses composure and attacks Revolver with his chain outside the ring despite Colby pleading him not to. The action brings the disqualification. Everybody needs a sit down after all that. It was dramatic and bloody. At its climax Reckoning had 9 fatigue tokens between them and Slaughterhouse had accumulated 5.
Lord Nexus defeated Agony by DQ in non-title action. Lord Nexus is wanting to be a fighting champion taking on all comers. Since capturing the belt he has already wrestled two matches without the belt on line. He says “I would happily lay the title on the line every time I wrestle but it’s not up to me. Those decisions are down to Lance At-Las and his championship committee”. Agony is still injured but Oracle refuses to hold his monster back wanting it to do as much damage across the CWF as possible. Lord Nexus is a bit too clever for it though keeping his distance and striking with measured attacks. Agony ends up getting frustrated and starts ripping up seats at ringside causing a premature end to the bout.
Mister Centra defeated Nebula by DQ. Nebula going solo whilst his brother is suspended. After an even battle in the ring the action spills outside. They stop wrestling for a moment and end up trash talking. Mister Centra calls Nebula a no-talent bum and slaps him across the face. The red mist descends on Nebula and he grabs the nearest object (which happens to be a table) with which to knock Mister Centra out with. Mister Centra uses his agility to avoid being hit and smugly accepts his disqualification victory. The drama isn’t over though for when Mister Centra tries to leave Star Slayer is waiting for him behind the curtain and clotheslines him down. Apparently Star Slayer took exception to being spat on at the last card.
Chaos Supreme crushes Saboteur. Chaos plummets down to the mid-card now he is without his title. He starts his climb back towards the top by obliterating poor Saboteur. Relentless applications of BOW OF DEFEAT eventually overcome Saboteur. Notably the Alpha Stone surges in power during the match to make the finisher even more devastating. In the aftermath he grabs the announcer’s mic to demand he is given a rematch against Lord Nexus to regain the belt that is rightfully his. Strangely he is still over with the crowds as they react to his outburst with cheering.
Total Anarchy puts Lance At-Las in his place. Lance admits he was attacked before his match on #9 but still doesn’t know who it was, “it was from behind so never got a proper look at them but if it was Anarchy then revenge will be dished out shortly. Inside the ring where it should be done”. Sadly it is Anarchy who gets revenge (for losing to Lance last month) as he uses GEHENNA’S GATE to force a submission. Lance has lots of tokens by the end and despite losing is building a lofty reputation as having ‘legendary’ endurance. For Anarchy it is an essential win as he was 1-4 in singles matches heading into this.
Command and Control defeated Cringe and Grovel. After seeing the Firing Squad beat Cringe and Control convincingly last time out Command and Control is under pressure to match them. They have much more difficulty. Although they dominate Cringe they find it tough to beat as both THE APOCALYPSE and ADAM’S ATOMIC DROP come up short. Seeking greater gains against Grovel both of Star Slayer’s favoured moves MAD MAT and THE APOCALYPSE (again) are attempted but once more no joy. It needs a spectacular Cosmic Big Bang from Star Slayer to put it down for good.
BETWEEN THE ROPES
Matches being added to EXTREME ELIMINATION EVENT … Lord Nexus takes on Prime Colonizer … Oracle finally responds to Nebula’s challenge and will face him at the event … FDF linking up to engage a Future Shock team in 6 man tag action

Card 11 – Centra Palladium:
Prime Colonizer beats Lord Nexus to become the Heavyweight champ. First of two consecutive meetings. This one for the belt, the second one will be purely for pride. Sadly Lord Nexus in his first official defence falls and the belt is very quickly returned to the dominant Future Shock team. It is classic edge of the seat action from start to finish. Prime Colonizer makes the first big move of the match by going for SIMIAN SKULLCRUSHER but misses the target and crashes into the canvas. The crowd loves it as Lord Nexus takes advantage of this and uses THE APEX. Prime Colonizer, to his credit, redeems himself by kicking out quickly. Both are probably guilty of playing their hands too quickly. Determined to regain control Prime Colonizer now grabs hold of Magnus Colby’s case and nails Lord Nexus before tossing it. How did the ref miss that? Leaves the champ in a perilous situation. Follow up moves include Colonizer Claw Grip and Prime Piledriver but Lord Nexus won’t give in and keeps on ticking. Prime Colonizer is angered at the resistance and against his better judgement tries SIMIAN SKULLCRUSHER for a second time but again it misses. Amazing twist. Surely nothing can stop Lord Nexus now. He signals THE APEX once more but in a last desperate bid to save the match Colby jumps on the apron. Lord Nexus rushes over and clobbers Colby which gets a cheer but it buys Prime Colonizer essential recovery time. He is able to come up behind with a violent knee right in the ribs. Both are in a bad way now, especially Lord Nexus who has 6 fatigue tokens, and whoever can strike big next would surely be the winner. Unfortunately it is Prime Colonizer who does. He gets Lord Nexus hoisted up and manages to nail a vicious Tombstone Piledriver. Demands the ref makes the pin count and sadly there is barely a flicker from Lord Nexus. The title changes hands again and is already proving to be a hot potato. Prime Colonizer staggers to his feet and flaunts the win. Notably he refuses to share any of the spotlight with Colby.
Reckoning crushes Firing Squad in non-title action. Doomsayer wanted the team to take a week off to charge the batteries. But that’s not Revolver’s style. He is loving life as a wrestler and wants as much action as possible. When the Firing Squad issue them a challenge he is quick to take them up. Not wanting to get in the way of his enthusiasm Doomsayer relents to it as long as the belts are not on line. Magnus Colby calls him a coward for refusing to put them up but Doomsayer retorts that the Firing Squad have not proved themselves yet as credible challengers. The bravado of Colby and his Firing Squad is short lived. The Reckoning takes them apart with Doomsayer playing a star role. Lays waste to Darkest Justice almost pinning him with BRAIN GAMES within the first couple of minutes. Justice’s kick out just delays the inevitable. About a minute later Doomsayer hits him with a side suplex from which there was no recovering.
Chaos Supreme destroys Evolution. Chaos signing matches like crazy to force himself back into title contention. He hates not having the main belt and not being the centre of attention. Evolution is a pretty powerful guy himself but has no answers to Chaos. He gets manhandled from very early on. BOW OF DEFEAT wearing him down and then Run of the Bull actually finishing him off. The stone glows as Chaos parades round the ring with it. He is still enjoying the adulation of the fans. If he does get the belt back soon one wonders if anyone can anyone stop this force of nature? He has only lost one match in the CWF (boasts a 6-1 record in singles matches since inception).
Oracle and Agony (injured) defeated Supernova Explosion by DQ. The drama of the last bout has barely died down before Supernova Explosion are in the action again. They want revenge on Oracle for orchestrating things. However, Oracle just stays out of the action. Instead sends Agony into the ring to inflict massive damage. Poor Lance gets ripped apart and after a Monster Punch falls outside the ring. As Agony comes after him Star Slayer moves to protect his partner and uses his rifle to ward off the advances. Trouble is as soon as the referee sees the weapon has no choice but to call for the bell. Oracle looks happy with tonight’s demonstration of power in the last two matches.
Centauri goes over Tortured Soul. Centauri returns after suspension and back to his prankster self. His light heartedness has a positive effect on his wrestling skills as he grabs a great victory. Despite Tortured Soul’s stubborn resistance Centauri keeps adding on the tokens and eventually seals the deal after a well-timed Running Star Blast. Trouble is Agony is present and up next. The creature has been sent out early by Oracle to wreak havoc. Together they pummel poor Centauri until both Lance At-Las and Star Slayer come forth to break it all up (Centauri injured 2 cards).
Zealos beats Mayhem Unleashed by DQ. With Minister of War no longer interested in engaging Zealos in a distracting feud Magnus Colby casts off Zealos to Slaughterhouse to finish the job. Mayhem ensures Zealos comes away from this bearing scars after a smash with chain move. The fact that he was disqualified for the move makes no difference. Mayhem has shown time and time again he cares little for victories.

Card 12 - EXTREME ELIMINATION EVENT – Warrior Center:
(Every match is special rules. With all the winners put into a big melting pot at the end to compete in a Battle Royal. No belts being defended tonight)
The following were booked as Gauntlet matches …
Prime Colonizer annihilated Lord Nexus. Total walkover for the new champ as Prime Colonizer posts a second consecutive win over Lord Nexus. Wears the gauntlets very early on after climbing the ladder to retrieve but stopping half way up to turn and level Lord Nexus with a dramatic move that involved tucking the legs under the knees. It was like a cannonball hit. With Lord Nexus incapacitated Mandrill can retrieve the gauntlets safely and with no resistance. Armed with these Mandrill revels in the power increase. Lord Nexus is battered with COLONIZER CLAW SLAM three times during the match. Quite how he survived each time nobody knows. However the punishment gets worse. Mounted Punches whilst armed with the gauntlets almost knock Lord Nexus out. As the poor guy tries to crawl away from the blows Mandrill jumps on him with Voltaic Stunner (which has now become a finisher) and ends the misery. Mandrill flaunts the win and vows to be the last man standing in the final Battle Royal. As he leaves he brushes Lord Nexus’s trademark sunglasses, sat on a ringside table, onto the floor and stamps on them.
Centauri beats Mister Centra by DQ. Mister Centra protests the Gauntlet match stipulation saying it is not befitting of a wrestling contest but it’s the only way into the event so he relents. The chance to win a trophy too good to pass up. When Centauri manages to get a hold of the gauntlets and starts to dominate Mister Centra takes to the outside. Picks up the discarded ladder and swings it at Centauri. Cops a nasty blow which draws a little bit of blood. The ref instantly disqualified Mister Centra who of course goes mad at him. Claims he did not know that can happen in this type of match and that effectively it was a move of self defence. He points towards the fact Centauri was armed himself with the gauntlets. Roars of laughter ring through the crowd when they hear this. Seems Mister Centra has missed the entire point of the match. Not for the first time this year Mister Centra storms off.
The following were booked as Cage matches …
Reckoning wins a brutal contest with Truth and Consequences. Lots of pre match bantering, “cage matches are their speciality” brags Oracle. Doomsayer is not concerned and thinks Agony’s injuries will slow him down “that thing cannot move quick enough to stop us escaping”. As it turns out Agony is far more mobile against them than expected. It manages to avert many escape attempts and shows incredible power. At one point tossing Revolver so forcefully against the side it splits his head open. Revolver looks in peril but sacrifices himself against the two demonic beings to try and keep his partner fresh. The tactic works as Doomsayer comes back strong and even produces a weapon smuggled into the cage. It is used to knock Agony of its feet. Tortured Soul steps forward to take Doomsayer on and despite an epic contest comes a cropper. BRAIN GAMES puts Tortured Soul to the sword and both members of Reckoning triumphantly escape the cage. They could of gone out the door but wanted to win in style.
Minister of War dominates Zealos in the blow off to the feud. Vengeance gives Zealos one last match to finally end the conflict. It is a very one-sided affair. Vengeance is always a step ahead of Zealos and just picks him off. AETHRAN MASSACRE comes the way of Zealos not once but twice and there is no stopping Vengeance. In the interests of conserving as much energy as possible Vengeance just casually strolls out the cage door leaving his opponent in a bloody heap. With this conflict well and truly over it is time to wonder who Zealos will move onto next? He is unpredictable and could go after anybody.
The following were all booked as Titan Death matches …
Evolution stuns Chaos Supreme. They meet again. Evolution’s confidence may have been dented by the previous mauling but he doesn’t show it. Goes toe to toe with Chaos this time around. Perhaps learning from his previous mistakes. Doesn’t allow Chaos to ever really close in on him to make use of his powerful arms. It may have been going well but nobody really believed an upset was on the cards. Even when he hit DECAPITATOR twice. However, Chaos was having a real off night. Instead of taking his time and regrouping Chaos waded straight back into the action still groggy. Evolution uses every bit of strength he has to scoop Chaos and nail him with a devastating Gladiator Piledriver. Chaos, by this time, was carrying 4 fatigue tokens and no way he was getting up from that. Huge moment for Evolution. Things are going great for Galactic Rebels.
Nebula blows Oracle away. Nebula gets his wish to face Oracle granted and really seizes his chance. Lasts less than two minutes and in that time latched on with CETUS SLEEPER three times. The third and final one putting Oracle’s lights out. Oracle will have a tough time getting over this humiliation.
FDF (Lance, Adam Blast, Star Slayer) beat Future Shock (Slaughterhouse and Adam Traitor) in 6 man tag action. The teamwork shown by the FDF team is incredible. Star Slayer’s ability to link seamlessly in tag teams with both his partners providing a great platform. It’s Lance who stars as he repeatedly hits Splatter with both his finishers until he eventually pins him. It was MARS MANHANDLER that came through for him in the end. All three FDF guys progress to the main event Battle Royal. Unfortunately Adam Blast carries a couple of tokens after taking a few hard hits during the bout.
****Still to come****
