STRONG STYLE USA Monday, June 10, 2019
BACKGROUND
Dayton, OH, based owner Scott had tried to restart the type of wrestling he loved as a kid with the formation of International Xtreme Combat/World Of Fighting, and later, WARRIOR Wrestling. When Hara Arena was rendered uninhabitable by the Memorial Day Tornado that hit Dayton, OH, it became necessary to shut down WARRIOR Wrestling as well.
Frustrated and despondent, Scott told his then-commissioner Roddy Piper that he was going away for a while and told Roddy to take some time off and be with his family. Scott decided he needed to do something new, so he booked a flight to Japan. While he was over there, Scott, being the wrestling fan at heart that he always was, decided to see some of the great Japanese wrestling he had always read about and watched on YouTube and AXS TV.
From that, came the inspiration.
When Scott came back home, he was revitalized. He presented his ideas to Wright State University, and was able to secure both the Nutter Center and the McLin Gym. He would now be able to access the large military population and their families living in and around Wright Patterson AFB.
He then came up with a booking philosophy: All Clean Finishes More Sport Than Entertainment One-On-One Competition
But the most important thing to him was to repair some relationships. First he called Freddie Blassie, who was healthy again and ready to wrestle, and King Kong Bundy, who were his first two Universal Champions. Taking an idea he got from watching DOJO PRO on Amazon Prime, he proposed that on opening night they would wrestle to become the first Strong Style USA Black Belt. He explained that he was renaming the Universal Titles Black Belts because a Black Belt is the highest honor you can claim in Martial Arts, and represents a lot of time, sacrifice, and hard work to achieve. After they took turns insulting each other over the phone, the King Of Men and The Walking Condominium agreed to meet in the ring at the inaugural SSUSA card, with the winner becoming the first Strong Style USA Black Belt and the loser becoming the #1 contender for the first block of competition. He had an easier time of it with Mildred Burke and Kay Lee Ray, and they also agreed to meet under the same terms. To fill out the brackets, sixteen randomly selected men and women would do battle in two Battle Royals.
Next, Scott drew up a Press Release. It read as follows:
Ladies And Gentleman, Wrestling Fans, Members Of The Sport And Entertainment Press!
I would like to invite all of you to the McLin Gym, on the Campus of the WSU Nutter Center, this coming Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 12:00 Noon. I will have an announcement in regards to a new professional wrestling federation that will be running out of Nutter Center in Fairborn, OH. I will also introduce you to some of the stars that will be a part of it, and have some surprises too. I look forward to seeing you all there. Doors open at 11:00 AM and refreshments will be served.
Sincerely, Scott S.

STRONG STYLE USA PRESS CONFERENCE Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - 1155AM
The assembled press as well as wrestling fans are mingling and enjoying the refreshments inside McLin Gym. The lights go down and a graphic starts to play....
STRONG STYLE USA WHERE SATURDAY NIGHT'S ALRIGHT FOR FIGHTING
The video is interspersed with footage of the stars of Strong Style USA in action.
The video ends to a nice round of applause, and when the lights come up, Scott is at the podium and is greeted with a nice round of applause.
Scott welcomes everyone to the press conference. Scott tells the story of the end of WARRIOR Wrestling, going to Japan, and his inspiration for starting Strong Style USA
For those of you that don't know, the first card will be headlined by a double main event. The first half will be former World Of Fighting Universal Women's Champion Mildred Burke facing off against WARRIOR Wrestling Universal Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray in a Title Unification Match for the Strong Style USA Women's Black Belt. The second half will feature former WOF Universal Champion "King Of Men" Freddie Blassie facing former WARRIOR Wrestling Universal Champion, now calling himself "The Irresistible Force" King Kong Bundy for the Strong Style USA Black Belt. As most of you know, a black belt is the pinnacle of martial arts and symbolizes excellence in your chosen discipline. The losers of each match will be deemed #1 contenders in the first month of competition.
Now, to determine the other 13 places in the bracket and the three competitors that will begin in block two, we will have a Battle Royal for each roster consisting of 16 participants each. Fighters will be drawn randomly, and drawings will be overseen and certified by the accounting firm of Moneymaker and Bux, CPA's.
We start with the ladies, and the battle royal participants will be.... MsChif "The Black Widow" Victoria She Devil Tina Moretti "Crazy" Mary Dobson "The Metalhead Pitbull" Hudson Envy SuperNova Samantha Heights Tammy Lynn Sytch Barbie Hayden Judy Martin Madison Rayne ODB "Ballsy Badass" Shotzi Blackheart Kellie Skater "Sweet" Saraya Knight
And the men's battle royal participants will be.... Mad Dog Vachon Yukon Eric Martin "The Moth" Casaus "Road Dogg" BG James "The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived" Austin Aries Rad Racer "The Original Apex Predator" Wolf "Rapmaster" PN News "The Premier Athlete" Anthony Nese Matt "Air" Sydal Lou Thesz Red Pirate Rogers Bandido Aethran Overmaster "American Psycho" Lance Hoyt "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase

Really going to enjoy this promotion taking off awsomsinger! The backstory was very cool and I like the martial arts / almost sumo? one on one philosophy of ring competition. Glad to see the former champs going for the black belts and the battle royals look absolutely amazing! Totally pulling for my man Lou Thesz but it's really going to be tough. You sound like you're back, getting into your groove and getting your mojo back despite the recent odds. Now that's what I call Strong Style! P.S. I saw Nickleback back live about 10ish years ago and they played Saturday Nights Alright For Fighting and they knocked it out of the park. Rock on wit cha bad self Scott - lookin forward to more!

I hear he's ringing my alter ego's phone off the hook. Keep watching!

Strong Style USA POWER HOUR Thursday, June 13, 2019
We are live from the McLin Gym and broadcast live across the Internet at ssusa.com.
Your hosts are Mark Lowrance and GWF Legend Omega
MARK We welcome you to the Strong Style USA Power Hour here on ssusa.com. I'm Mark Lowrance, and alongside me my new broadcast partner, GWF legend Omega. Omega, welcome OMEGA Thanks Mark (Assembled crowd applauds as Omega waves) MARK Thank you, it's great to have you aboard. Today on the Power Hour, Omega and I will be talking to Strong Style owner Scott S. about the inaugural card on Saturday, for which Scott has promised us he has a couple of surprises which he will tell us about. We've got a lot happening, so let's take a quick commercial break, and we'll be right back
(Commercial for Moneymaker and Bux, CPA's, is shown)
MARK We're back on the Power Hour, and our guest today is the owner of Strong Style USA. He requested to chat with us today to tell us about some recent developments here, so let's bring him out now, please welcome Strong Style USA owner Scott!
(Scott walks out to applause, shakes hands with Mark and the Omega, then they all have a seat)
MARK Scott, welcome SCOTT Thanks Mark, great to be here and let me just say welcome aboard to Omega OMEGA Thanks Scott, it's great to be here. I hear you've got some news for us SCOTT Yes I do, and you know me, I like to get right to business. As you know, when WARRIOR shut down, I told Roddy Piper to head home and spend some time with his family. I chatted with Roddy last night, and he has told me he will be beginning to train his son for his MMA debut here in a few months, and he wanted my blessing to do that. I understand, I couldn't very well tell him no, but that got me to wondering who would be a good replacement for Roddy as commissioner and competition director? A name came to mind and I got his number from a friend, and I'm glad to say we reached an agreement and I'd like to introduce him right now, so if you'll hit that red button on your phone please (Mark does so) Mr. Commissioner, identify yourself please VOICE ON PHONE Well hello pally, it's the Fabulous Jackie Fargo
(Huge pop from audience and chant of “Jackie-Jackie”)
MARK Oh my, the legendary Jackie Fargo. How are you Jackie? JACKIE FARGO I'm doin' quite well pally, thanks for askin'. I just want to say to Omega, I'm a huge fan from your wrestling days, I look forward to meeting you OMEGA And I you as well, Mr. Fargo JACKIE Omega, it sounds like we're gonna be good pals, so you call me Jackie, okay pally? OMEGA You got it Jackie MARK Congratulations on your new position as commissioner and competition director JACKIE Well thank you Mark, I'm very much looking forward to it. As a matter of fact Scott, I was wanting to run something by you and the fans and see what you thought. SCOTT I think that would be fine. You fans want to hear this?
(Fans pop)
OK, Jackie, go ahead JACKIE Well, it's like this. Scott, you got a loaded card for this Saturday night. I like what you did with the former champions, immediately giving them a chance to get back what they never really got to defend. However, I think we need to make a little change. You see, when fighters wrestle in a battle royal, there should be something worth fighting for at the end for the winner. Right now all they're getting is the ability to say “Hey look at me, I won a battle royal”. For me, that is just not good enough. Now, if the champions are the fighters I think they are, I think they will appreciate what I am about to do. So, this Saturday night at Strong Style USA: The Beginning, I am making this official effective immediately. The two fighters left in each battle royal will join the former world champions in two four way elimination matches for the two Strong Style USA Black Belts. I know you want one on one competition, and I'm all for that, but sometimes in martial arts, it becomes necessary to face multiple enemies at once. I think the champions would like it, I think the fans would like it, and I hope you guys like it. What do you say? SCOTT What do you say fans?
(Fans erupt in a huge pop, chanting “four way match”)
Then I will make this official – As of right now, the last two fighters standing in the two battle royals will join their respective champions for a four way elimination match to decide the first holders of the two Strong Style USA Black Belts
MARK Already, brand new commissioner Jackie Fargo making waves in Strong Style USA. Jackie, do you have time to stay and chat with us a bit? JACKIE Sure do pally, I don't have to work until Saturday
(Crowd laughs)
MARK Very good then, we'll take a short break and....wait a minute, I'm being told there's a disturbance backstage BRUTE (comes thru curtain behind Mark Lowrance, still sporting burn marks on his face from the accident he had during WARRIOR Wrestling) Where is he? SCOTT, we need to talk! SCOTT Hey, we're trying to do a show here (stands up) BRUTE Well it doesn't seem to me like you care much about whom did this to me. I could've been blinded and you and these moron fans would have been celebrating
(Fans shower Brute with boos)
SHUT UP ALREADY! I'm here for another reason as well. I gave a tape to your guy backstage, see, 'cause Aethran Overmaster was supposed to be in your Battle Royal..... SCOTT Alright look, first of all.... BRUTE NO YOU LOOK! While we was doing promotion, Overmaster and I, something else happened, and if that idiot in back will roll the tape you'll see what I mean SCOTT OK, roll the tape
(We see Brute and Overmaster walking out of a gym)
BRUTE You ready to go Overmaster? These other clowns ain't gonna know what him 'em. Let's go to the steakhouse OVERMASTER All these inferior specimens will be forced to bow down....
(At that point a car flies into the parking lot. Brute sees it and moves in time, but Overmaster is clipped and sent flying)
OVERMASTER AAUUUGGH! MY LEG, MY LEG, IT'S BROKE....AAAAUGH
BRUTE OK, that's enough! Now, since Overmaster can't fight in the Battle Royal, I want to take his place, and as far as I'm concerned, you owe me! SCOTT I owe you absolutely nothing, I told you I'm investigating what happened to you and that's all I can do right now BRUTE As far as I'm concerned you can put me in that match, or me and you can discuss your upcoming.....
(From behind PCO runs up, pulls Brute away and throws him to the ground as the crowd chants PCO-PCO)
PCO Hey.....hey Brute.......fight me for it.....NOW!
(Huge crowd pop. Brute throws his hands up and walks away. Cameras follow Brute through the back of McLin Gym out a service door, where he is struck in the side of the head by a thrown bottle. Brute is on the ground in a pool of blood)
SCOTT Oh my God (in disgust) Let's take a break
(Some local commercials are shown)
MARK Welcome back to Power Hour. If you've just joined us, we had an unplanned visit from Brute, someone attacked Brute outside the building, but he has left under his own power and refused any sort of medical assistance..... SCOTT (Walks back in) Excuse me Mark.....Jackie are you still with us? JACKIE (Still on phone) I'm right here pally SCOTT Then you've seen everything that just happened. I'm letting you handle this, I'm a little upset right now JACKIE OK, well let's do this. Is PCO still there? PCO (stands next to Mark Lowrance who stands up to hand him a mic) I'm here JACKIE PCO I don't know why you were there, but I appreciate what you did to protect Scott. It appears that the Aethran Overmaster is out of the match with a broken leg, so that leaves an opening in the Men's Battle Royal. Who would like to see PCO in the men's battle royal?
(Huge crowd pop for PCO)
Then as of right now PCO, for your actions today, you are in the men's battle royal with the opportunity to move to the men's four way elimination match for the Strong Style USA Black Belt PCO I was listening to the show on my tablet and when the trouble started I happened to be nearby MARK PCO, if you hadn't showed up when you did it's hard telling what would have happened. Thank you very much and congratulations on being in the battle royal That's going to bring to an end this edition of the Power Hour. We'll see you this Saturday for The Beginning. For Omega, Scott, Jackie Fargo, and PCO, I'm Mark Lowrance, and we'll see you Saturday night. Good night everybody.

Up until the 16-minute mark the match was fought fairly evenly. She Devil then began a lengthy offensive against Burke, seeing her as the strongest obstacle to the Black Belt, and would apply multiple bodypresses and strikes to wear her down.
Burke is helped from the ring, and we continue.
