Can Yukon Eric and Kay Lee Ray survive with their black belts intact? Time will tell, and its story begins tonight. It's Strong Style USA, it's live, and it's NEXT

Now THAT'S how you kick off the show! Good evening everybody and wrestling fans everywhere, and we welcome you to Strong Style USA ON FOX! Mark Lowrance alongside GWF legend Omega, and Omega, the tournament bearing your name begins tonight

Yes it does, Mark, and when you look at the seedings it's really hard for me to pick two overall winners.

That was a source for a bit of controversy among some of the fighters this week, as their seeds were determined by a panel of wrestling experts. Let's start with the men

A lot of the controversy seems to center around the fact that Jackie Fargo, whom two weeks ago was commissioner of Strong Style USA and was asked to be a part of the tournament by the network, is seeded at #9, so before even wrestling his first match he has a target on his back. Yukon Eric, as the current SSUSA Black Belt, felt he should have been ranked higher as well

The tournament rules are simple
Win and you move on
Lose and you're out
Draw and you're both out
Double Disqualification and you're both out
Disqualification occurs after three public warnings except in the case of contact with the referee, then immediate disqualification is at referee's discretion
20-minute time limit except in final match, which is one fall to a finish

It's time to kick off the Omega Cup, so let's go to Gavin Loudspeaker for the official introductions of our first match

KELLIE SKATER VS “HARDCORE DAREDEVIL” KAY LEE RAY
Skater started off fast with suplexes, but KLR turned it around by stuffing a knee strike and landing a solid kick to the head. KLR then sent Skater outside hard. Once back in the ring, a dropkick and a german suplex scored a near fall. A SWANTON BOMB scored another near fall, and after an enquigiri, another SWANTON BOMB scored the pin for Kay Lee Ray

WINNER – Kay Lee Ray via pinfall at 5:48 – Will face Mildred Burke in second round

“THE RAPMASTER” PN NEWS VS “THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN” TED DIBIASE
In true form, DiBiase groused to the referee about having to soil his hands against what he considered to be a street thug. In the early going, News nearly cuts DiBiase in half on the top rope with a Stun Gun. News pressed the advantage with slams and power moves, including a violent clothesline that rocked DiBiase. News would lose the advantage after missing a corner charge and running headfirst into the ringpost. DiBiase would only need a power slam and a COBRA CLUTCH to put down the already dazed News and take the match.

WINNER – Ted DiBiase via submission at 4:07 – Will face Wolf in second round

“SWEET” SARAYA KNIGHT VS TAMMY LYNN SYTCH
Knight dominates throughout. Sytch had flashes of offense but could not get anything going. Knight gets the pin with a corner dropkick that snaps Sytch's head and neck.

WINNER – Saraya Knight via pinfall at 4:15 – Will face Strafe in second round

KING KONG BUNDY VS RAD RACER
Racer, having been ranked #20, came into this match with a chip on his shoulder, showing no fear of Bundy despite a 261 pound weight difference and four inches in height. Racer brought the fight early, using his blazing speed to wage a hit and run attack that flustered Bundy. Bundy found an opening and nearly splashed Racer thru the mat. Bundy then began a beatdown that ended in two backbreakers and the ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE for the win

WINNER – King Kong Bundy via pinfall at 5:04 – Will face Austin Aries in second round

“THE METALHEAD PITBULL” HUDSON ENVY VS TINA MORETTI
Brief, back and forth match that saw Moretti catch Envy by surprise with a JUMPING FACEBUSTER for the win

WINNER – Tina Moretti via pinfall at 2:48 – Will face SuperNova in second round

YUKON ERIC VS “ROAD DOGG” BG JAMES
This was a long, drawn out brawl that spent equal parts in and out of the ring. The end came when Eric applied the full nelson to a dazed BG James, and after nearly bending James in half, James submitted

WINNER – Yukon Eric via submission at 12:07 – Will face Lou Thesz in second round

“CRAZY” MARY DOBSON VS SAMANTHA HEIGHTS
Dobson dominates from the beginning, but needs two KAIJU KILLERS to put down a game Samantha Heights

WINNER – Mary Dobson via pinfall at 3:04 – Will face SheDevil in second round

RED PIRATE ROGERS VS MARTIN “THE MOTH” CASAUS
Casaus wastes no time, knocking Rogers out with a Northern Lights suplex off the initial lockup

Let's get right up to the ring for our first match

SUPERNOVA VS TINA MORETTI

This match was offensively dominated by SuperNova, as Moretti could not offensively get into gear. Moretti did find an opening and sent SuperNova outside, only for SuperNova to send Moretti airborne into the rail, drawing a public warning and busting Moretti wide open. Unfazed, SuperNova brought the action back into the ring and hit SPEED OF LIGHT for the win
WINNER – SuperNova via pinfall at 8:57

LOU THESZ VS YUKON ERIC

The first minute was back and forth. Both fighters would end up outside, where Thesz would send Eric headfirst into a table and open a small cut. Back in the ring two GRECO ROMAN BACKDROPS and two THESZ PRESSES spelled the end for Yukon Eric and his title reign
WINNER – Lou Thesz via pinfall at 2:27

“BALLZY BADAZZ” SHOTZI BLACKHEART VS “GLAMOUR GIRL” JUDY MARTIN

Both fighters were even in the first minute. A running forearm in the corner scored a near fall for Judy Martin. A throat drop and a shoulder tackler weakened Blackheart even further, and Martin finished off the match with a POWER BOMB for the quick win
WINNER – Judy Martin via pinfall at 2:31

“KING OF MEN” FREDDIE BLASSIE VS “THE FRANCHISE” SHANE DOUGLAS

Douglas goes for a quick win with a gourdbuster and gets a near fall. Undaunted, Douglas then hits the PITTSBURGH PLUNGE for another near fall. A piledriver appears to hurt Blassie, but Blassie dodges a rolling neck snap and begins knee dropping Douglas' skull for nearly a full minute. Douglas kicks out of the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER but cannot kick out the second time.
WINNER – Freddie Blassie via pinfall at 2:23

SHEDEVIL VS “CRAZY” MARY DOBSON

The first minute was dead even. After that, SheDevil dominates. The third of three CANNONBALL CLOTHESLINES scores the pin for SheDevil

“THE PREMIER ATHLETE” ANTHONY NESE VS MARTIN “THE MOTH” CASAUS

A short, brutal brawl where Nese missed two out of three 450 SPLASHES. On the last miss, Casaus hits LIGHTS OUT and scores the knockout victory over the #3 competitor
WINNER – Martin Casaus via knockout at 2:23

“THE BLACK WIDOW” VICTORIA VS “THE IRRESISTIBLE FORCE” NIA JAX

A straight up, back and forth catfight here. Both ladies had their moments. Victoria, to the amazement of the crowd, managed to get the larger Nia Jax up for two WIDOW'S PEAK attempts. Jax barely kicked out of the first one, but not out of the second one.
WINNER – Victoria via pinfall at 6:12

“CANADIAN FRANKENSTEIN” PCO VS “AMERICAN PSYCHO” LANCE HOYT

The main event was a straight up hossfight that went back and forth the entire time. The end came when Hoyt sent PCO to the corner for a running clothesline. The referee managed to get clobbered, but recovered almost immediately. While PCO was somewhat shocked, Hoyt took advantage and hit TEXAS TORNADO for the knockout victory
WINNER – Lance Hoyt via knockout at 5:18

We go up to the ring where Omega has a mic

OMEGA
I have known this man for a lot of years, and to most people, he is not someone you want to really mess with. Yet, some unknown person has been doing just that, attacking him at every turn. He has a message for the attacker. Please welcome BRUTE

(Brute comes to the ring to polite applause and some booing)

OMEGA
Brute, we've known each other a long time, and I can't think of anyone brave enough to want to do this to you. What are your thoughts?

MY THOUGHTS! MY THOUGHTS! It's this simple, my thoughts are for this coward to show himself and let's settle this like men. I'd like to know who this is myself, and.....

(Suddenly, the lights go out and the video board shows static. Then, a message begins to play on the screen.....)
ME, A COWARD......

COMING FROM THE KING OF COWARDS......

NOW THAT'S FUNNY......

MILDRED BURKE VS “HARDCORE DAREDEVIL” KAY LEE RAY
A dominant performance and victory for Burke as she wins with the tried and true ALLIGATOR CLUTCH. Kay Lee Ray with no offense whatsoever as she exits the tournament and loses the title
WINNER – Mildred Burke via pinfall at 3:11

“THE ORIGINAL APEX PREDATOR” WOLF VS “THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN” TED DIBIASE
Wolf nearly wins in record time with a back leg sweep and SAVAGE FACE CLAW in the first 20 seconds. Wolf stays on offense until missing a top rope flying bodypress. Dibiase with some offense until he is stopped by a Wolf Skullcrusher. Wolf with another attempt off the top rope and he misses again. Dibiase locks in the COBRA CLUTCH and manages to submit Wolf in a major upset
WINNER – Ted Dibiase via submission at 3:04

MSCHIF VS MADISON RAYNE
Madison Rayne endures a tremendous beating from MsChif and manages to score a come from behind victory with RAYNE CHECK
WINNER – Madison Rayne via pinfall at 8:50

MATT “AIR” SYDAL VS “FABULOUS” JACKIE FARGO
The best match of the night by far. Jackie dominated the first half of the match, scoring effectively with running knee strikes. Sydal weathered the storm and took to the air, effectively flustering Fargo and scoring several near falls. Sydal even managed to draw blood on Jackie outside the ring. It would be the Here It Is Driver that finally allowed Sydal to get past a still tough and very game Jackie Fargo.

STRAFE VS “SWEET” SARAYA KNIGHT
Strafe wins in near record time with GROUND ZERO, knocking out Knight in the process
WINNER – Strafe via KO at 1:32

“THE GREATEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED” AUSTIN ARIES VS KING KONG BUNDY
A fairly even match early, until it would end up outside. Aries managed to cut Bundy's head open on the steel rail. Back in the ring Aries narrowly missed a 450 SPLASH, allowing Bundy to launch his power offense. However, a missed corner charge by Bundy allowed Aries to score a near fall, then quickly hit another 450 SPLASH for the victory
WINNER – Austin Aries via pinfall at 3:31

ODB VS BARBI HAYDEN
An all out brawl between two alpha females ended with ODB hitting BAM! For the victory
WINNER – ODB via pinfall at 14:32

BANDIDO VS MAD DOG VACHON
In an even match, Bandido pulls out the pinfall with a crucifix driver followed by a 21 PLEX
WINNER – Bandido via pinfall at 3:48

QUARTER FINALS
Saturday 9/14

We welcome you once again to the quarter finals in the Omega Cup to crown new SSUSA Black Belts.

Both former champions have lost and relinquished their belts, so we are guaranteed two new champions.

Mark Lowrance and Omega are your hosts.

We are told Brute's attacker is watching the program and wishes to be addressed as Mr. E (Mystery)

We head up to the ring for our first match

3-SHEDEVIL VS 6-”THE BLACK WIDOW” VICTORIA
SheDevil and Victoria kicked off the night with an absolute brutal brawl that spent most of its time outside the ring, and while each one had their moments, Victoria was overall the stronger fighter on the outside. It would be the second of two WIDOW'S PEAKS that scored her the pinfall after a hard fought battle
WINNER – Victoria via pinfall at 11:34

19-MARTIN “THE MOTH” CASAUS VS 11-”AMERICAN PSYCHO” LANCE HOYT
Another brutal brawl, albeit much shorter than the previous one. On the outside, Hoyt whipped Casaus so hard, he tripped and slammed headfirst into the safety rail, which sliced his head open and had him severly bleeding. This only served to PO “The Moth”. After surveying the bloody damage, Casaus engaged Hoyt in a brawl outside the ring, got the better of it, then scored a near fall back in the ring with a TKO CUTTER. Casaus then hit LIGHTS OUT for the knockout victory as Hoyt had to be revived with smelling salts.
WINNER – Martin Casaus via knockout at 3:10

2-SUPERNOVA VS 10-”GLAMOUR GIRL” JUDY MARTIN
An evenly fought match that mostly stayed in the ring. SuperNova's agility makes the difference as she scores the victory with SPEED OF LIGHT
WINNER – SuperNova via pinfall at 8:14

2-LOU THESZ VS 7-”KING OF MEN” FREDDIE BLASSIE
A spirited match that saw the referee get squashed during a corner charge by Thesz. Undaunted, Thesz and Blassie fought on, and three minutes later, the referee was helped from the ring, although he allowed the match to continue to the delight of the fans. Thesz pressed his attack from that point and would score the submission over Blassie with his version of the STF
WINNER – Lou Thesz via submission at 7:41

4-STRAFE VS 5-ODB
For about the first 2 ½ minutes of this match, Strafe threw ODB around like a rag doll in and out of the ring. ODB finally got it together and sent Strafe to the guardrail, hurting her in the process. A Bronco Buster knocked Strafe silly, and then ODB hit BAM! For the shocking knockout victory
WINNER – ODB via knockout at 3:05

4-”THE GREATEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED” AUSTIN ARIES VS 5-BANDIDO
Though Aries would dominate most of this match, it would be Bandido and the guardrail that would turn things around. A second guardrail whip by Bandido hurt Aries further, and a 21 PLEX back in the ring secured the victory
WINNER – Bandido via pinfall at 4:49

1-MILDRED BURKE VS 9-MADISON RAYNE
In a come from behind victory, Burke survives two cuts on her head (one deep) and a game Madison Rayne to win with the ALLIGATOR CLUTCH
WINNER – Mildred Burke via pinfall at 9:23

17-”THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN” TED DIBIASE VS 8-MATT “AIR” SYDAL
In the shock of the night, Sydal's high speed offense completely baffled Dibiase, and a Top Rope Frankensteiner spiked Dibiase headfirst into the mat, and scored the KO victory for Sydal. The crowd went nuts for the decision, having watched Dibiase upset Wolf the previous week
WINNER – Matt Sydal via knockout at 1:33

You will recall last week Brute came here, hoping to meet the person who has been tormenting him for months now, and while being interviewed by my colleague Omega in the center of the ring, this happened. Let's take a look back

(We see Omega interviewing Brute, the lights going out and coming back on, Omega outside the ring, and Brute getting bloody, raw chicken dumped on him from above)

Now we understand the perpetrator of all this torment that Brute has received is watching us from an unknown location and has agreed to speak with us electronically. Our owner Scott has allowed the person we only know as Mr. E to hack into our video board in order to communicate with me as I perform this interview. Mr. E, can you hear me and are you with us?

(We go to the back of the arena by shipping and receiving, where a box truck backs in. The driver gets out, opens the back of the truck, and wheels out an extra large wheelchair)

(As the truck pulls out, a hearse backs into the arena. A man in a black suit emerges. The roar in the arena becomes deafening as everyone realizes the mysterious man is Paul Bearer)

Really enjoyed the victories by Lou Thesz and Mildred Burke - was pulling for She Devil too but it just wasn't her night.

Mr. E is a great story and it just got even better with that vignette at the end of the last show.

No, I guess it wasn't - Victoria wrestled like she had something to prove.  Thesz and Burke are looking really strong too.

SECRETARY
Good morning Scott, here's today's mail, but this one's a little strange, a large brown envelope with no return address
SCOTT
Good morning Jenny, let me see that (Scott takes letter, flips it over and back) HMMM, nothing strange (pulls out a knife and opens letter, then pulls out a check for six figures) He wasn't kidding, wasn't he?
JENNY
Sir? 
SCOTT
This Mr. E fellow, you've been watching, right? 
JENNY
Yes I have, he sounds like he has revenge on his mind
SCOTT
I think you're right.  Do me a favor, call the issuing bank and verify funds on this, would you please? 
JENNY
Will do (Leaves office)
SCOTT (Picks up walkie talkie)
Jim, you out there? 
JIM (On WT)
I'm here boss, what's up? 
SCOTT
Have you checked on the condition of McLin Gym?
JIM
Sure did, it's crystal clean.  Can't even smell chicken anymore.  They did a great job. 
SCOTT
And how's the ring?
JIM
Stripped it down to the frame, rebuilt the floor underneath and put a new mat, canvas, and cover on it.  A local artist is coming in to stencil and reapply our logo today.
SCOTT
Excellent Jim, great work, Scott out 
JENNY (Walking back into office)
The check clears muster, we're good to deposit it whenever we want
SCOTT
Well that makes me feel a little better (Phone rings)
JENNY (Picks up phone)

SCOTT (Sighs and takes a deep breath before putting call on speaker)

SCOTT
Good morning Mr. E, it's, uh, nice to finally speak with you

Now Scott you don't sound that convincing
SCOTT
Uh, sir, let me put it this way, I know Brute is a mean, no good sonofabitch, but I can't have no one making attempts on his life within my jurisdiction.  Now what is this about? 
MR. E
As I have already told you, this has nothing to do with you personally or anyone on your roster, except that, as you put it, no good sonofabitch Brute.  He did something that I just cannot forgive, and for that he has to pay.  But you make a good point, Scott, so I'll tell you what, at a time of my choosing I will come and confront Brute.  When I am ready to do so I will call you.  That's all I can tell you for now (Hangs up phone)
