Well, we have all most likely been able to bring in the roster of Supercard of Honor into our feds (or getting close to it) so how are they doing? Or what are your plans?
-Jeff Cobb since being repackaged (swapped his Evolve card for his ROH one since he was out with an injury) has returned to participate in a Number One Contender Championship ROH Canada Rankings Tournament where we was eliminated by PJ Black in one heckuva match on Day One of the tournament only to win the Second Chance to Dance Battle Royale to jump back in only to come up short against Kenny King on Day 9. He recently participated in the ROH Canada Six Man Tag Team Invitational Tag Team Championship Tournament to crown a inagural Six Man Tag Team Champions. Cobb, The Hawaiian Lion and Navajo Warrior has one helluva match that has stole the show in the tournament thus far against The New Hart Foundation of Davey Boy Smith Jr, Teddy Hart and Lance Hoyt. Teddy Hart would take the victory over Navajo Warrior but what a match. Cobb may have won a few and lost a few but his future is still bright and big things are on the horizon as the ROH Canada Office has noticed Cobb since his return.
-The Darewolf PJ Black also was given the card upgrade in my fed and entered the Rankings Tournament to best the newly returned Jeff Cobb in Day One of the tournament. He would go on to defeat Sinn Bodhi on Day Six and then on Day Nine he would end his time in the tournament in a solid match against The Tokyo Monster Kahagas. PJ Black has had a breath of fresh air and has had a solid run thus far. Another wrestler that is making his mark in ROH Canada.
-Bandido made his debut as well in the Rankings Tournament and made it as far as Day 9 before he was bested by Tiger Mask. He would then align himself with Rush and they would enter the Six Man Tag Team Championship Tournament with their first victory in Round 1 over The Supercops(Dick Justice, Officer Warren Barksdale, Detective Dan Barry). Bandido has been a solid performer and will be winning gold sooner rather than later.
-Rush came in making an impact the moment he entered the Rankings Tournament. However on Day Six tempers would flair and Rush would be disqualifed as he faced The Tokyo Monster Kahagas which has led to a super heated feud between the two. Rush also reunited Los Ingobernables with Bandido joining and Rush was also able to talk the legendary Super Crazy to leave LAX and join them as they have entered the Six Man Tag Team Championship Tournament. Rush has been a force to be reckoned with since showing up and already has made his mark in only a month. Looking forward to more from Rush and Los Ingobernables in the months and years to come.
-Coast 2 Coast have yet to debut on TV but have had a got a few House Shows under their belts. Their wins over EYFBO and Milk Chocolate being most notable and their seems to be a minor rivalry brewing between them and Milk Chocolate. They will be called up to TV after Best Of The Best VII. So far they look like they may make their mark on the tag team division.
-Brody King & PCO both were introduced by Marty Scurrl as members of Villain Enterprises and tossed their names into the Six Man Tag Team Tournament. They would be put out in the first round due to PCO finally snapping over the antics of "The Dark Menace" Tom Filsinger and take it out on Dark Menace Forces member Benett Cole. Brody King and Marty Scurrl would also get involved in the brawl and Todd Sinclair would call for the bell DQing them. They might be out of the tournament but Brody King and PCO are making noise in the tag team division to the point that it might not be long before they run head long into the ROH Canada World Heavyweight Champions, The Briscoes.
-Matt Taven would return from injury with a new look and bring back The Kingdom after Michael Bennett decided to disband it and go out on his own in the search for ROH World Heavyweight gold. He is on a mission, upon returning he made it as far as Day Nine where he would also get an shot at Jay Lethal's ROH TV Championship but take a LETHAL INJECTION to end his time in the tournament. But that didn't stop Taven. He called upon Kingdom members TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia and make it through the first round of the Six Man Tag Team Championship Tournament against Luchasaurus, Merlok and Dragon Dragon. It will be interesting to see where Taven and The Kingdom go next. I am sure it won't be long before they have gold within their ranks.
-Luchasaurus would make his debut in the Rankings Tournament facing Matt Taven on Day One and then once again be bested by Taven again in the Six Man Tag Team Tournament when he, Merlok and Dragon Dragon were bested by The Kingdom. Luchasaurus has had a rough start but is a fan favourite. It will only be a matter of time before Luchasaurus begins getting some solid victories and making a name for himself in ROH Canada.
My ROH Canada is super hot right now.
