Last night's show was excellent. I'm hopeful they're able to run Blood and Guts next week but they obviously have a safety net if not because they repeatedly said "Next Dynamite". It was nice to have a two hour escape and the show went by very quickly.
Again, despite no fans, enjoyed the whole presentation from having Cody and Kenny on commentary to the Jericho/Matt Hardy verbal showdown at the end of the show. No wrestling company is perfect and of course they have made their mistakes.........but the successes in AEW's first year outweigh the bad by a long shot. Wrestling has been super hot this year, imagine what wrestling will be like when the "out of touch old man" finally steps down!

Cody was funny while talking. Just felt him and Kenny got caught up too much in the action sometimes. That's due to being wrestlers AND bookers/management and watching how things unfold. Just a small thing I noticed. Need to have that second man to help Tony when talent gets distracted. A small fix they can do. I thought the caricatures in the seats was a nice touch. They should expand on that. Heck even use it time to time once Jericho allows fans back.
NO comments for a while.... I was a little disappointed in the Mox-Hager match... they tried to hard to sell it as a shoot. Jericho is pretty fun on commentary! Some things work without fans, some don't. It'll be interesting to see how they go forward, if the guys working now will be rewarded later (like Spears and Sabian) and get a push over guys that aren't.

The in ring stuff hasn't been too exciting outside of the tournament matches, but I do think they have had some great video content going and I still have been enjoying it. From what I heard they will be going live again in 2 weeks, I guess in Jacksonville. Regardless I am looking forward to Double or Nothing and whatever that brings.
The two wrestler debuts definitely helped the first no fan show. Also the novelty of it, as it’s certainly not something we are not used to. Some weeks better than others. I agree w the above on Mox/Hager (wasn’t expecting much tho) And TM on the video packages. It’s as good as it can get for right now I guess.
Who else liked and was surprised by the people who entered the Manitoba Match-ups? Like Lou Ferrigno, jay and Silent Bob, Vicki Guerrero, The Inner Circle and so many others who I couldn't figure out the others. Also like Moxley had said "Call your grandmother!" Love it.
