Unplanned Wrestling Alliance (UWA)
Welcome to the Unplanned Wrestling Alliance (UWA) where everything is determined by the roll of the dice!
All Matches will happen randomly except feud matches and PPVs. If I roll one member of a feud, he will automatically face the other party in some manner.
Matches will be rolled using the following chart:
2- Title Match
3-7 Singles Match
8-10 Tag
11-12 Commish
The roster will be chosen from my collection of legends, ROH, CZW, Chicara, Bootlegs, etc.
All wrestlers appearing will be chosen at random, except in the case of an established team (IE, if I roll Hawk then Animal is probably coming with him). Managers will also appear at random. This should allow for some really interesting combinations.
Before each match I will roll on the old Smathis Mythic chart. It opens up some creative possibilities and can lead to interesting developments. The results of these rolls are the one thing that I will take creative license with.
I will roll on one of 6 special cards for each event. They are Commissioner Cox, Bill Apter, Ian Riccaboni, Todd Sinclair, Sleeper Cell (to determine the possibility of outside interference) and Gene Okerlund. I will simply roll 1d6 and use the card indicated.
The championships will be as follows:
UWA Global championship
UWA Global Tag Team Championship
UWA Pandemic Championship
UWA Pandemic Tag Team Championship
UWA Global Cruiserweight Championship
UWA North American Championship
The singles champions will be established by a random 64 wrestler tournament. The winner will be the Global Champion. The runner-up will be awarded the Pandemic Title, and third will be the North American Champion. The highest ranking cruiserweight (235 lbs or less) will be the Cruiserweight champion. The initial top 10 will be determined by placement in this tournament. A similar 16 team tournament will be held for the tag titles.
After the initial ranking, each win will earn the wrestler/team 20 pts + any fatigue pts inflicted on the opponent and – any received. The loser will be deducted the same number of points. The UWA will maintain 10 ranked singles wrestlers, 5 ranked teams and 5 ranked women. At the end of each month any competitor who is outside those ranks will leave the UWA to make way for new talent.
Injuries can also occur in the UWA. After each match, I will roll 1d6 for each fatigue token and wrestler has. Each “1” requires another roll for the level of injury. For example. If Magnum TA ends a match with 6 tokens, I will roll 6 die. If I roll 2 “1’s” then that indicates an injury. I will then roll two die (because of the number of “1’s”). If I roll 6, then Magnum will be wrestling hurt for 6 weeks and his pin rating will increase as a result. The level will drop by one each week to simulate healing. I’ll be using an injury chart I found on the forums. A wrestler can continue to get re-injured and if his level exceeds 10 then he is injured long term and will leave the UWA to heal.
I would be very interested in ideas to improve on this concept, or any ideas you may have in general.
