Looking for feedback

Hey Guys,


    I've run a couple of months worth of the Unplanned Wrestling Alliance in this forum. I would love to hear any suggestions for making it better or making the matches more interesting or just how to run it better in general.

Truth be told I wouldn't change a thing.

Absolutely love the idea of just the dice, fate, lady luck (however you see it), dictating the match by match structure and situations involved.

Is that Mythic chart actually posted in it's entirety anywhere on our message boards? Would totally like to see that.

If it feels right to you - then its the right way to run it.

I always remember TTX saying once that he posts for his own enjoyment and if other people enjoy it then all the better, (or something to that effect).

I try to approach it like what would I like to see in a fed, what would I find enjoyable and just try to go with that.

I'm sure everyone has their own mindset when it comes to the what and the how of posting.

Would be awesome to hear how other folks do the voodoo that they do so well!

My approach and style changes often because I'm always influenced by fellow promoters, as I saw that your posting style changed somewhat as you went along.

In my experience that seems like a natural progression of sorts.

To make a long answer longer, I think that if what you're doing at the moment what comes naturally to you...then I think you're on the right track!

I don't think it's posted anywhere. There's a PDF available online that I paid $6.95 for. Been worth every penny. It's great for adding twists to a card (that's where the Road Warriors split came from, for example.)

I'll second what Bri said, more or less.

So long as you're happy with it, keep doing what you're doing.

As it was said, some of us just post to keep ourselves happy and entertained and if others enjoy what we're doing, then all the better! I will admit, however, that I always look forward to comments and views from my fellow promoters.

I'll add that it's kind of gutsy, in my humble opinion, to leave everything up to the dice like that. Brave. So... good on you.

I'm too much of a control freak to go that far with it, but I do try to let the dice fall where they may. Even though I deliberately pick certain things in the matches and storylines.

It is my own personal opinion that pro wrestling without storylines and feuds loses a certain amount of the thing that made wrestling appeal to me in the first place back in 1979.

Keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep reading.

The interaction between us promoters is the best part of all of this!

Comments, likes and views go a very long way.

All of us being a part of each others feds and endeavors I think helps keep them going in my opinion.

And I also agree that without the storylines / feudes it does lose something.

When I first started playing I used to just randomly aim the wrestlers at each other and I enjoyed that.

But when I started incorporating the storylines / feudes it really multiplied it the fun!
