7. Barry Windham d “Iron” Mike Dibiase

8. Cutthroat Tag Team Title Match: The Road Warriors d The Midnight Express
- Pinfall: Hawk over Eaton with THE DOOMSDAY DEVICE.
Evening Highlights:
Dibiase totally dominated the young Donst. Donst did, however, show that he can take a beating. Dibiase got frustrated with his inability to get a pinfall on matter how much punishment he unleashed, so he loaded the black glove and nailed Donst right in the jaw. Donst fell into the ropes which prevented Dibiase from covering him immediately. Donst recovered enough to stay on his feet and continue the match. However, Dibiase finally took him to the mat and hit him with a series of fist drops to secure the win.
Cameras cut to the back, where Barry Windham has a mic.
“Steve Williams, just because Bryan Danielson kicked your ass doesn’t mean it’s over between you and me! You’ve gotten in my way too many times. I demand that you meet me next week in a First Blood Match! I’ll make you squeal like a pig, then I’ll slice you open.”
Commissioner Cox comes out and states that he’s gotten Williams’ agreement to the match and it will indeed happen next week!
This tag team match was not much of a contest. The Young Bucks tagged in and out quickly and effectively. Merlok was never even able to tag Gargano into the match. Gargano was able to break up one pin attempt when Matt hit the MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. But he was blocked from making the save when Matt hit the MELTZER DRIVER.
Yukon Eric totally dominated this match. He kept the smaller Venis off-balance with a series of running tackles and body blocks. No matter how hard Venis tried, he couldn’t get way from the big lumberjack. Yukon Eric finished Venis off with a running tackle.
Sting seems to have overcome whatever was holding him back the last couple of weeks. He came out strong early against the Gorilla and connected a rolling Koppo Kick before locking in the SCORPION DEATHLOCK for the win.
Doctor Death makes it known that he’s not going to bow down to the Four Horsemen and Barry Windham. He takes everything Bobo Brazil can throw at him and nails two consecutive OKLAHOMA STAMPEDES to get the win.
We found out just how vicious the Freebirds can be in this match. They cornered PCO early and just wouldn’t let him have any offense. Gordy had to use the ORIENTAL SPIKE multiple times as well as the PILEDRIVER. Hayes finally finished him after two BULLDOGS.
The former champion took his frustration out on Mike Dibiase. Windham dominated from the opening bell but Dibiase would not go quietly. It took two SWEETWATER SUPERPLEXES from Windham to secure the win.
The Road Warriors took control of this match in typical Warrior fashion. They rushed the champs as the bell rang. They dumped Condrey out of the ring and focused on Eaton. They tagged in and out delivering massive amounts of punishment. They quickly hit the DOOMSDAY DEVICE and Condrey was still laying on the floor, unable to make the save. We have new Cutthroat Tag Team Champions!!

Card #18 Paintsville High School Gym: Paintsville, KY.
1. Don Muraco and Dutch Savage d The Hi-Flyers in a tryout match when Muraco pinned Gagne with the HAWAIIAN HAMMER.
The Hi-Flyers are a legendary team, but that didn’t stop Muraco and Dutch Savage from trapping Gagne in their corner and working him over. Greg fought back and nearly reached his partner for the tag a couple of times, but in the end, Muraco was able to hit his finisher for the win.
2. Ric Flair d Sabu by submission with the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK.
Flair took control early and wore Sabu down with kneebreakers and kicks to the knee. Flair strutted around the ring as he set Sabu up for his sleeper. Sabu managed to fight his way out of that, but succumbed to Flair’s legendary finishing hold.
3. Jushin Liger and Tiger Mask d Dick the Bruiser and The Crusher when Tiger Mask pinned The Crusher with the Tiger Suplex.
This seemed like an odd pairing from the very beginning, but both teams played to their strengths. Bruiser and Crusher tried to wear down their faster opponents with stomach claws and holds intended to immobilize the competition. Liger and Tiger Mask managed to keep a dizzying pace, with Liger hitting the FISHERMAN’S BUSTER on the Bruiser and having the pin broken up by The Crusher. Finally Tiger Mask hit the TIGER SUPLEX on The Crusher for the win.
4. Gorilla Monsoon d Val Venis with the AIRPLANE SPIN AND SLAM.
Monsoon showed off his agility, even though he’s roughly the size of a parking garage. As soon as the bell rang he moved in on Venis and caught him in the AIRPLANE SPIN AND SLAM. This win might cement Monsoon as one of the very top contenders in the CWA.
5. Sting d Yukon Eric with the SCORPION DEATHLOCK.
The Icon seems to be regaining his form after a couple of tough weeks. Yukon Eric threw everything he had at Sting, but it simply wasn’t enough. Sting took it all and steadily mounted his comeback. He used clotheslines and dropkicks to set the big lumberjack up for the SCORPION DEATHLOCK. After Eric concedes the match and Sting lets him up, the big lumberjack attacks Sting with a bear hug and then the KODIAK KRUNCH. Sting suffers a back injury and will be wrestling hurt for about 4 weeks.
The camera cuts back to the locker room, to Kevin Sullivan standing in front of a cinderblock wall holding a microphone. “I’ve been managing the Mongols for a while, and they’re coming along quite well. But it’s time to expand the kingdom of darkness. I’ve been helping another man behind the scenes and tonight the new strength and ruthlessness showed. I will guide this man to the promised land.” With that, Yukon Eric steps into view with a maniacal look in his eye. “Sting….I’m coming for you!!”
6. “Iron” Mike Dibiase d Bobo Brazil with the TOP ROPE KNEE TO THE BACK.
Dibiase used his cunning and experience to keep Brazil’s power from dominating the match. In the end, Bobo went for a flying dropkick and missed, allowing “Iron” Mike to hit his finisher for the win.
7. The Mongols d The Midnight Express when Bepo hit the MONGOLIAN DROP on Dennis Condrey.
This match between two of the best teams of all time was a classic lesson in brutality. The Midnight Express looked well on their way to victory until Sullivan pulled the referee out of the ring as he was about to count a pinfall against Geeto. The Mongols used the ensuing confusion to get the win once the referee was back in the ring.
8. Barry Windham d Steve “Dr. Death” Williams in a first blood match with the BLACKJACK CLAW.
Windham and Williams have been trying to kill each other in the CWA for weeks. It finally came down to this brutal match-up. Both men dealt a ton of punishment (6 fatigue tokens between them) and neither man could have gone much longer. Windham locked in the BLACKJACK CLAW twice before he was able to bust “Dr. Death” open. Doc suffered a mild concussion and will be wrestling hurt for about 2 weeks, while Windham hurt his back and will be wrestling hurt for about 5 weeks.
Injury Report:
Sting hurt his back and will wrestle hurt for 4 weeks.
Steve Williams suffered a mild concussion and will wrestle hurt for 2 weeks
Barry Windham suffered a back injury and will wrestle hurt for 5 weeks

Louisville, Kentucky- Press Release
As of today, Cutthroat Championship Wrestling has been dissolved and its assets, including wrestler contracts, championship belts, rings, lights and anything else of value have been sold.
The new owner has purchased wrestling properties all over the country and has dissolved them all. This new group is the only wrestling company left in the United States. And it has all been purchased by one person.
Please welcome the new owner of American wrestling….
MAMA CORNETTE.
“I don’t know much about these things. My son Jimmy will be running this operation. I trust that he will turn it into a huge profit-maker for me. And if not? Oh well. As long as Jimmy’s happy!”
Jim Cornette: “That’s right, mama. As long as I’m happy, that’s all that matters. And this is what will make me happy. I’ll be deciding who goes where. My new toy will be called the “League of American Wrestling” That’s right…LAW! As in…I am the law!!
We’re gonna have 7 territories; Tri-States (Louisiana, Oklahoma and Mississippi), Southwest (Texas/Arizona/New Mexico), Northeast (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania), Southeast (Alabama/Georgia/Florida), Deep South (Tennessee/The Carolinas), Central States (Kansas, Missouri/Iowa) and Western States (California, Nevada/Oregon)
In the interests of time, I’ve already taken the liberty of naming the main champions in LAW. They were all determined in a completely fair assessment of the top names in the sport. They are:
LAW World Champion: Buddy Rogers
Law World Tag Team Champions: The Midnight Express (the very best team in the history of the world!!)
LAW United States Heavyweight Champion: Steve “Doctor Death” Williams
LAW United States Tag Team Champions: Barry Windham and Ted Dibiase
I’ll be assigning wrestlers to the various territories very soon. One thing I can assure you is that those sniveling little teeny boppers, the Rock n Roll Express will be scrubbing toilets at my favorite dive bars in Louisville, Kentucky!
