Spike recovered and attempted to slingWolf into the turnbuckle, but Wolf reversed the move, then Spike reversed the attempt, then Wolf again reversed the move and caught Spike with a massive clothesline, sending the big Aethran down to the canvas. Wolf wasted no time in latching on to Spike’s face with the SAVAGE FACE CLAW! Wolf wouldn’t be denied and wouldn’t let go. Spike fought and squirmed, but the more he struggled, the more the Savage Wolf’s claws dug deeper into his face. Spike had no choice but to tap out! Wolf has become a 3 time winner of the Mega Tournament and will receive a championship match against Thantos next month! Match Rating: 3.00

That's some crazy dice rolling Kaz! did you play out the whole Mega Tournament 2091 in one night? A great finals matchup! I've been running this fed through the sim on good old cotg online. Saves a bunch of time when you are way, way behind. Although I'm really enjoying this version of my GWF history, which is why I'm posting it on the boards now. Plus, I've never gotten to 2092 GWF "by the book," as my original fed, started sometime in the 80's, was FULL of bootlegs, that have long since been lost to time. I'm looking forward to the arrival of Chaos!

GWF: Card 166 08.06.2091 from Callisto Centroplex, JupiterThe show opens and Wolf’s music hits as the savage ani-man makes his way down to the ring. Mic in hand, he rolls under the ropes and plays to the crowd, standing on the turnbuckles with his arms raised, howling at the sold out arena. The fans eat it up. He cuts a promo, detailing his victory-his third straight- at Mega Tournament, and his future GWF Galaxian Championship match against Thantos coming up later this month at Uprising.
This brings out the champion, Thantos himself. He also makes his way down to the ring and gets in Wolf’s face. Thantos states that while Wolf has won the tournament twice before, he’s never beat him for the championship afterwards. He calls Wolf a failure and tells him this time will be no different. He will step into the ring against the best, and he will fail again.
Suddenly, Krakan jumps from the crowd and attacks Wolf from behind. The two villians put the boots to Wolf as Star Warrior runs from the back to make the save. The crowd is going crazy as the villians retreat up the isle.
Our main event is made backstage! Special Forces vs. the WarMongers!Match #1
vs Pit Viper vs. Death MasqueFor over 30 minutes, Pit Viper beat the holy snot out of Death Masque, but to his credit, Death Masque absorbed an amazing amount of punishment during that time, confounding every attempt Pit Viper used to put the former Death Knight away. Eventually, Pit Viper hit the VENOM BLAST outside the ring and earned a countout victory. Winner via Countout Pit Viper After the match, Death Masque was enraged once he came back to his senses, vowing to take the Viper down once and for all! Match #2 Interplanetary Tag Team Championship bout vs Nightmare (c) vs. Norse GodsThe Norse Gods tried to use quick tags to overwhelm their opponents, but Whiplash dominated both of them in route to pinning Man Mountain with a Backslide Beheading and defending their titles once again. Winner via Pin fall Nightmare (c)Renegade came out to the ring prior to his match for a promo. He finally addressed the last few weeks, and talked about his alliance with the Mutant and putting Terak on the shelf for the last couple of weeks. He said the Barbarians-or Space Croppers- or whatever they were supposed to be called this week, were finished. He also added that when Terak came back, he would do to him what he’s about to do to Creeper. Match #3 vs Renegade vs. CreeperRenegade started on the offensive, but the Creeper “Hulked up” again! After a minute or two of savage moves, the fight ended up outside the ring. Renegade begged the Creeper off, but the Creeper grabbed a chair and started hitting Renegade mercilessly! The referee immediately called for the bell and disqualified the Creeper! From out of the back, the Mutant runs down to ringside and attacks the Creeper from behind, knocking him to the mat! The Mutant puts the Creeper on the announce table and he and Renegade climb the turnbuckles and both deathjump onto Creeper! The Creeper was taken to the back for medical evaluation! Winner via disqualification Renegade **Match notes, Creeper is injured for 2 cards**Match #4 vs Prison Camp vs. GalacticopsIn what was textbook tag team wrestling from both teams, the Prison Camp takes the disqualification win after Justice body slammed Tendron onto an announce table outside the ring. Winner via disqualification Prison Camp Match #5 vs Exo King vs. SpikeThe match started off with a test of strength between the two that Spike eventually won! (Match started off with doubles twice) After that, it was big man moves vs. big man moves, with neither man gaining an advantage. Once the action spilled out of the ring, Exo King and Spike fought tooth and nail, with Exo King taking things one step too far, and trying to hit Spike with his royal scepter! The referee called for the bell, and we have our next disqualification for the night. Winner by disqualification SpikeAfter the match, Spike hit the MegaDestroyer on Exo King and -playing to the crowd- put on Exo King’s robe, picked up his scepter, and placed his golden crown on his own head! Spike must have liked the look, because he left with them!
Match #6 Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match vs Beast of Burden (c) vs. the GladiatorsBrute over powered the Badger for the first two minutes of this match. Once again, the action went outside and, for some reason, perhaps out of desperation, the Incredible Badger clobbered Brute with a chair, earning a disqualification for his team! Winners via disqualification the Gladiators Match #7 vs Battering Ram vs. Comrade TerrorThe Ram dominated Comrade Terror throughout the match up and finished him off with the BATTERING RAM in 3:05. Finally, a pin fall finish! Winner via Pin Fall Battering Ram
Backstage, Exo King is going crazy over the loss of his effects! He demands the returns of his stolen goods from the no-class, dirty Aethran thief! A challenge is made for Uprising!
Match #8 vs Matador of M83 vs. Pulsar PrimeThe Matador was all over Pulsar Prime in the opening minutes of this match up. Prime unleashed an offensive barrage that saw him hit two WHIRLWINDS back to back, but Matador put a stop to it by tossing the Titan outside the ring. Once back inside, Matador scored the victory with a BULLWHIP! Winner by Pin fall Matador of M83 We go to the locker room where Lord Nexus is talking to Billy Joe Boxer. Nexus questions Boxer’s behavior over the last few weeks, losing control and getting disqualified. He brings up the assault on Krakan two weeks ago.
Billy Joe, looking jacked and sweating, slams his fist into the lockers. He says he’s tired of the losses piling up, he’s tired of being out of title contention. He’s frustrated fighting the same battles over and over against the same foes. He’s going to make a statement that Titan Power isn’t a joke. That he’s not a joke.
Nexus replies that he knows Boxer isn’t a joke, but he needs to focus and get it done in the ring. Disqualifications aren’t going to win them the belts back. He then questions his partners’ health as Boxer is really sweating, his muscles are straining. He doesn’t look good says Lord Nexus.
Billy Joe says he’s fine, and not to worry.
Match #9 vs TitanPower vs. NightStalkers
Lord Nexus put on a wrestling clinic against Bounty Hunter, controlling the opening minutes of the match. Once Billy Joe was tagged in, Bounty Hunter turned the tables and beat down Boxer. Boxer looked slow and sluggish in the ring and produced no offense what-so-ever. Two Ambushes later, Billy Joe was counting the lights and Bounty Hunter and Serpent Unman were celebrating a victory. Winner via Pin Fall Nightstalkers
We go over the Card for GWF: UPRISING 2091. Matches announced so far: Death Masque vs. Pit Viper (Titan Death Match) Spike vs. Exo King (for Exo King’s stolen crown) Wolf vs. Thantos for the GWF Championship Match #10
MAIN EVENT vs WarMongers vs. Special ForcesWolf and Krakan started off the match as Thantos refused to share the ring with his Uprising opponent. Krakan and Wolf traded moves until Krakan got the upper hand and tagged Thantos in. Thantos hit suplex after suplex on the savage Wolf, hitting a final Cobra Clutch Suplex and bridging it for the pin fall victory. Krakan managed to hold off Star Warrior while the referee counted 3. After the match, Thantos applied the MASTERLOCK on Wolf for several minutes while Krakan held Star Warrior down. Once the hold was broken by several officials, Wolf was obviously in agony and held his knee, howling on the canvas as Star Warrior attended to him. Winners via Pin fall WarMongers
The show ended with Thantos and Krakan standing on the ramp laughing at the carnage and damage they’d caused!

08.16.2091 from Court of Palms Pagoda, Caph, Cassiopiae The show opens with a recap of the previous weeks' events, setting up for Uprising next weekend. It is revealed Pit Viper will be meeting Death Masque in a steel cage match and the Gladiators will challenge the Beasts of Burden for the GWF Tag Team championships in a Aethran Street Fight! vs.Awesome Studs (c) vs. Defense Fighters for the War Games Tag Team Championships Pulsar Prime would not be denied in this contest. He was dominate against Mr. Galaxy in the beginning of the match and after Vanity got the defensive tag and some offense in, Pulsar again took control of the match and finished Vanity off with the SOLAR STRAIN for the win and the War Games Tag Team Championships, putting an end to a rather surprising reign from the Awesome Studs. Winner by Pin Fall and new War Games Tag Team Champions Defense Fightersvs.Star Warrior vs. Mad JesterStar Warrior started off hot with an arm wrencher and a Meteor Shower that knocks Mad Jester out of the ring. Star Warrior gives chase and Mad Jester absolutely crushes him with his jester stick and sends Star Warrior crashing over the announce table into the lap of the play by play man. The referee immediately disqualifies the Mad Jester! After the match, the Jester dives over the table where he begins to assault Star Warrior while he’s down! Star Warrior fights back and the two men brawl all over the ringside area! Officials and a few wrestlers rush to ringside to break up the fight as both Star Warrior and Mad Jester, while restrained, shout profanities at each other! Eventually, order is restored, but you can bet this is the start of something big! Winner via disqualification Star Warriorvs.Young Allies vs. Cosmic Forces A pretty solid back and forth match that saw all four men getting in some good offense. Neither team seemed to get the upper hand as the action spilled outside the ring. A wild brawl ensued that saw all four men getting involved in the melee. Matter ended up taking things a little too far and clobbered Adam Blast across the back with a chair, earning his team a disqualification. Once again, as in the match before, the ringside area saw another brawl that seemed to destroy whatever was still left standing. Could this be another feud in the making? Winner via disqualification The Young Allies
Cannibal entered the ring to cut a promo.
Renegade, with Mutant by his side, addressed the rumors of Terak returning next week. He stated their feud was far from over and issued a challenge to Terak at Uprising, one on one, in In a Titan Death Match! If he had the guts, he'd accept the challenge! vs.Comrade Terror vs. MassifThis quick and crazy match went all over the place! Both men seemed hyper aggressive in this contest, which again, spilled outside the ring! Like the two previous matches, a wildly out of control brawl occurred! The match was thrown out as the two brawled into the backstage area where things REALLY got brutal! Anything that wasn’t nailed down was either thrown at or bashed over someone’s head. Wrestlers backstage finally broke up this melee as officials were dealing with the other two! What could be making these men so aggressive tonight?
No Contest
Nightmare vs. Bomb Squad for the Interplanetary Tag Team Championships Splatter and Whiplash worked over Commander Sam for the entirety of the match, although the veteran put up one heck of a fight. Whiplash did the honors with a THUMBSCREW to Sam for the submission victory. Why Commander Sam never tried to tag in Powerhouse is anyone’s guess. Perhaps the old fighter was trying to prove he still had it after Thantos put him down a few weeks ago. The fact that he didn’t try to tag out was not lost on his partner as Powerhouse confronted him after the match. The two men walked to the back together, but Powerhouse looked visibly disgusted over the loss.Winner via submission and still Interplanetary Tag Team Champions Nightmare
vs.Wolf (c) vs. Matador of M83 for the GWF Interplanetary ChampionshipThe Matador knew full well that Wolf wasn’t 100% going into this contest, and he took full advantage of his injuries. The Matador choked out the howling commando repeatedly in the opening minutes and hit a Matador Death Run for good measure. Wolf rolled to the outside and drug Matador out of the ring by the leg and smashed him into the ring post before rolling the Matador back into the ring. Wolf hit an atomic knee drop and climbed to the top turnbuckle. A Wolf cross body block was countered by a Head Cracker that sent Wolf to the canvas. A vicious BULLWHIP later and we had a new Interplanetary Champion! Winner via Pin Fall and new Interplanetary Champion the Matador of M83
After the match, Thantos appeared on the top of the stage to taunt Wolf. He stated he had planned to come out here and raise the stakes in their match at Uprising by challenging Wolf to put his Interplanetary Championship on the line as well, but that was a moot point now. Wolf had nothing left to offer him, Thantos said. He was a sad, broken, pathetic excuse of a wrestler, and at Uprising, Thantos would prove it. vs. GalactiCops vs. Prison CampA damn fine extended match up between these teams was brought to an unfortunate ending when Tendron was disqualified. Winner via disqualification the GalactiCopsvs.Killer Queen vs. Lance At-LasThis was a 25 minute, match of the year contender. Things started off slow with Lance and Queen feeling each other out. They traded holds and counters until Killer Queen took the advantage with a knee to the head as Lance rushed him in the corner, knocking Atlas for a loop. Queen went for a pin fall attempt which Lance kicked out of and then worked him into a CHECKMATE. Atlas worked his way to the ropes, but Killer Queen drug him back to the center of the ring and reapplied the hold. Lance again made his way to the ropes to break the hold, but Queen kicked him out of the ring where the two brawled at ringside. Once back inside the ring, the two men again traded counters and near falls for another 15 minutes. The finish came as both wrestlers were visibly exhausted, as Lance caught Killer Queen with a running boot in the corner, nearly taking his head off. Lance followed up with a flying head scissors and covered Killer Queen for the three count. This write up doesn’t do this match justice. The fans stood and cheered in appreciation for the efforts of the two competitors. Winner via Pin Fall Lance Atlas Beasts of Burden (c) vs. Greek Gods for the Galaxian Tag Team Championships The Beasts defend their titles and defeat the Gods in less than a minute with the ANDROMEDA DROP! A shocker for sure! Winners via Pin Fall and Still GWF Tag Team Championship the Beasts of Burdenvs.Thantos vs. Spike for the Galaxian ChampionshipThe big Aethran overpowered Thantos and surprised him with his dominance in this contest! Thantos was on the defense for most of this match and seemingly couldn’t keep up with the offensive bursts Spike was laying down. The end of this contest saw the action spill out of the ring where Spike, chair in hand, shoved the referee down and knocked him unconscious before clobbering Thantos over the head with the illegal object! Spike first threw Thantos back into the ring and then tossed the referee back in as well! Once back inside the ring, Spike hit a prone Thantos with his MEGA DESTROYER finisher! Spike covered Thantos and the semi-conscious referee slowly counted 1-2-3! Winner via Pin fall and New GWF Champion Spike
The fans erupted as the bell rang to end the match. Spike had defeated the might Thantos and ended his 21 month reign as champion! The referee, still groggy, handed Spike the belt and he began to celebrate. Just as the celebration began, an official, another referee, and Wolf came out from the backstage area! The announcers questioned what was going on?! The lead official called the ring referee over and showed him the footage of Spike hitting Thantos with a chair while he was down on the canvas. Wolf pointed at the footage, also pleading the case of Spike using illegal tactics to win the belt. Spike got in Wolf’s face, questioning his place in all this as the referees had an animated discussion while watching the footage.
The ring referee, having seen the footage and regaining his wits, called the ringside announcer over to him and talked into his ear. The announcer nodded his head and announced to the crowd that, due to the illegal weapon Spike had used, was being disqualified, therefore Thantos was still the GWF champion! Winner via disqualification and still GWF Champion Thantos
Wolf addressed Spike on the microphone. He said he was sorry, but he's going to be the one to beat Thantos for that title and he wasn't going to let some fluke win take that from him. There was too much bad blood, too much build up for things to go down like this. On any other night, he'd be proud to have Spike wearing that belt, but not tonight. "Wrong place, wrong time." he said, turning to head back to the dressing room.
Spike was LIVID! When the referee went to Spike to reclaim the belt, Spike shoved the referee into the corner, knocking him down! Wolf turned to look at Spike and was greeted with the GWF title driven upside his head! Wolf crumpled to the canvas as well! Spike walked over to Thantos who was still down on the mat and hit him with another MEGA DESTROYER! He then threw the belt down onto the unmoving Thantos.
The show ended with Spike standing over the downed Wolf and Thantos, a sneer on his face and his arms raised above him!
