I think I narrowed down my technical problem, and have figured out a work around. I was playing earlier today and used the search function under the Fed history. It ran for a really long time (probably a couple of minutes) and then timed out and gave me a server failed to respond message. After that I could not access the site. I got an unable to connect to host error.
This evening I was out of the house and tried to connect with my iPhone and was able to do so just fine. When I returned home I again could not access the site either through my iPhone or my laptop.
I then set up a VPN on my computer and can now access the site just fine. I can also access from my iPhone if I turn off my Wifi connection. I checked my router log and it looks like every time I try to open the site (when on my home network) my router is blocking the connection.
I do not have a high degree of knowledge with computer networking. Is it possible that the game server may be still trying to push my search query to my IP address and preventing me from logging in normally?
