One of the toughest ever in or out the ring. His match with Terry Funk the NWA posted on YouTube earlier this year is a education in the craft

Sad news... An absolute Legend, in the truest sense of the word.

A true irreplaceable treasure and an indescribable loss to the world of pro-wrestling.

Harley Race was a few years before my time but thanks to this amazing game and community I learned all about him and grew to understand and appreciate his place in wrestling history.
RIP

I was really sorry to hear the news about Harley Race today, just about 7 months after the passing of his tag team partner Larry Hennig. I once very briefly got to meet Harley Race at a WrestleReunion (I think 2011) in Los Angeles. Race will at least will live on in my LOW fed where he is my current Intercontinental Champion.
RIP to the King of the Ring

It's sad new for sure.
I remember that my first real exposure to him was through TBS in the early-1980s and man was I dissapointed with what the WWF did to him when he ended up there.
It was great to see him work regardless of where it was, though.
Always one of my favorites and he always will be.
