Professional wrestling has a new place for anyone who thinks they're good enough to come and try to become a champion.
The International Wrestling Union (IWU) will provide a place for wrestlers to find out who is the best by facing off against the best the world has to offer.
The IWU will open its doors June 19, 1948, with the first of 24 shows that will ultimately determine the inaugural IWU heavyweight wrestling champion.
First here are the names that have made the cut to join the IWU:
French Angel
Red Berry
Fred Blassie
Bull Curry

These 20 men will face off in tournament competition until an undisputed IWU champion is crowned. More information on how this will be done is forthcoming.
