Thats a bummer Pete. Hopefully that schedule will change, but if not then hopefully next year you will have some pull to get the second weekend in July off.

I'm hoping my college shows in Texas, Washington, Oregon & Arizona will help fund the GCon trip! It looks good! GCon, DragonCon and ComicCon are on the slate for this year!

just got my vacation approved at work! Should finally be returning to Jamestown, haven't gone since the Destroyer was there.
tried to get a room at the Radisson but seems to be sold out. Any ideas what hotel would be best?

Looks like the Radisson changed its name to the Jamestown Hotel and Conference Center.
The Best Western in Downtown Jamestown and the Red Roof in Falconer are usually your best bets.

thanks to William Shatner and Priceline.com I found a cheap little place 2 miles from Sheldon House called Americas Best Value Inn.

America's Best Value Inn used to be Days Inn...must have bought them out or something cuz or Days here changed to the ABVI.
