I am planning to get everything booked in late march early april, assuming there will still be room at a hotel. Being that I am in Cali I am planning on coming in on that Thursday instead of friday. The way the plane leaves at 6:45 am friday, with a layover somewhere that escapes me at the moment, then arriving in Buffalo around 7pm, I would miss some of the friday festivities, so what the heck come in an extra day early and explore.

Always nice to have the left coast people make it. But if you're looking to explore Jamestown, I'd suggest just heading a bit west to Chautauqua Lake. Really nice spot.

Great to hear you are making the journey cman! I told Tom when he was here last May that I would make the trip and I am sticking too it. It is GCon 20 there is no better first GCon to go to, well execpt maybe the first one but I was just a kid and not into wrestling then. I just might check out Chautauqua Lake Trent. This will also be my first time to New York at all so it is bound to be a great time. |

Well I found out last week that I won't be able to attend...  ...it seems like every other assignment I get for the Air Force puts a crimp in my being able to attend. Over the summer Air Force ROTC cadets attend basic training and the training is staffed by instructors from detachments around the country. I volunteered to staff the early session so I would be free to go to G-Con but since I am some what new and relatively low on the pecking order I was selected to staff the session running the month of July. So, I will I not get to go to G-Con for the second year in a row because of this job...that really makes me  . Sorry to hear that Pete. |

Aw, c'mon Pete... just bring them all with you! We'll help you train 'em up real good. Plus, they can provide extra security when Swarm and Steel start trouble again... I was supposed to go to Galacticon 10 but got stranded in Chicago. I'm pulling all my nickels together and I'm praying I can make 20. So looking foward to it. I missed Tom out here on the west coast. Is there ever a con out this way?
