We've got a brand new episode detailing the weekend that was Galacticon 30! Todd and Mike joined me to discuss the new releases, tournaments, and other fun stuff related to the con. Todd also scored a great interview with your Filsinger Games Legends Team, Chad Olson, Cory Olson, and Tim Dalton, as they gathered together in Waterloo, Iowa for the George Tragos/Lou These Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame Induction Weekend. It's a great conversation that runs the gamut from their early days with CotG, the genesis of Legends, and recent signings (no spoilers, tho!). Mike, Todd, and I also put the Spotlight on one of the most legendary of all Gladiators, Spike! As always, questions, comments, hate mail can be directed my way and we'll be bringing you another episode soon! You can listen online at King of Pro WrestlingApple PodcastsGoogle PodcastsStitcherSpotifyThanks for checking it out and we hope to have even more info and content soon!

I read the episode notes. You were born in Waterloo? Get out of here! I'll expect you at the Tragos/Thesz HOF inductions next year!

It was a lot of fun talking to the "Legends team". Many of the stories I knew, but a few new ones I didn't know about. I'm sure it will be a fun listen for the big FG heads here.

The podcast was a lot of fun. Brought back memories of playing Champions back in the day and meeting everyone at those early G-Cons. I had hair then too...it was a glorious time.

One May afternoon back. in 19** (redacted to protect the innocent, haha). I would absolutely love to attend. Living in Chicago, it wouldn't even be that much of a drive. Thanks again for hopping on the call with Todd! I think it turned out great and look forward to hearing what others think. Hate that I missed it, but next time!

Looking forward to all those signings that were hinted at here! You are very correct, Pike! It was a blast talking about some of that stuff I hadn't thought about in many years. I'll save other "classic" GCon memories for a later podcast, but right now, I do have one other story from that first convention. We were playing a tournament, I think I was playing Mike Delve, and I rolled a move with a (ch G). I said "I'll throw you out of the ring". Mike said "You mean deathjump?" We started debating, and then compared Choice Charts. Turns out, the original Choice Chart had "out of the ring" instructions on (ch G) & (ch H) instead of "deathjump". We asked Tom about it and he said "Oh yeah, I think I changed that!" I don't recall if the differences on some cards between the original printings were known yet, like Vanity with a PIN 6 (3) instead of 7 (4). As I recall, that's also when I found out the original out of the ring chart had an additional event on it that was removed later. And I made a big oversight on the podcast. When thanking people who have been super helpful with signings, I forgot to mention Travis Heckel. He's done a great job, and I'm sorry I forgot to mention him. Thanks Travis! Glad everyone enjoyed our part of the show! It was fun to listen to it again!
