Did the Hangmen work in the "Showboat" ESPN days at the end of AWAs run? 1989-90ish?

Yes, though the AWA was out of the Showboat by the time they appeared.

maybe we'll get cards for the Destruction Crew!! Nice.....that would be awesome. But boy...I am local to the AWA, and of an age that I was very young but still aware of the AWA when they were still pretty much printing money for the last time (I would say 1984, they seemed in retrospect in a position to bounce back nicely after the first mass defection), and around for the slow death. It was at one of those dying days shows that I met Wayne and Mike, my favorite team at the time as I was a huge fan. They were doing a spot show up here in a small town named Hinckley, in the old Tobies amphitheatre.... And after the show ended I spotted them, still in their gear, standing outside talking to one another. Now everyone knew they were my team, so I had to walk up and tell them...and.i did. And they stayed in character, I guess, by completely ghosting me! Not a "shut up" or a "beat it, kid" or even a glancing acknowledge that a third living person was even there. Haha...I was mortified as I mopped back to my friends lmao..... Man that was such a weird show. Col DeBeers wrestled a black guy named Derrick Dukes, with a stipulation in which if DeBeers was victorious, he got to paint Dukes white...and he won! It was awkward at best standing there, in a small town 100% white crowd looking on as he did just that. Painted a black guy white...sheesh. And not to be outdone, poor Greg Gagne got his foot stuck in a "hangman" with the top and middle rope. As this was inadvertently done, the ref raced over to help him get it out....and couldn't. For some stupid reason nether he, nor Greg, nor a combined effort of both, could free his leg from the ropes for a LOOOONG and astounding 10 minutes lmao...oh the heckles the poor guy endured. Every one of them clear as a bell. Somewhere in my basement is a picture of me with Tommy Jammer from that day hahaha.

Super Medicos or the Batten Twins 😉 Who ? Curious had to google wiki them . Still don't know them . Destruction Crew I had to google them , I know them part as Beverley Bros from WWF . I would prefer them . Does it really matter when Texas Hangmen are released ? They will be released that's all that matters .

We all knew the Hangmen were coming. I'm glad we're getting them though. I don't care how they're released but I am definitely happy to get more Legends released any way we can get them. I also like that the PP cards will be a complete surprise and will tie into the December release. It's an exciting time to be a LOW fan!
