As noted earlier at this link, indie veteran Joey Ryan was among the surprises in the “Call Your Shot” Gauntlet Match at the Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory pay-per-view.
Ryan took to Twitter tonight and confirmed a report from SoCalUncensored.com that said he has signed a deal with Impact.
“It made the most sense. @impactwrestling has been the most consistent wrestling program on TV for the past 2 years, I get to keep all of my indie dates and best of all, they let me be me,” Ryan wrote.

Just came here to post the same thing. I was initially surprised when I read the news but his explanation makes a lot of sense. He had said he wanted to remain indy, it seems he'll be able to. It had also sounded like AEW would have wanted his gimmick changed to some extent, it seems Impact wants to bring him in as-is. Good for him!

Apparently Ace Romero also signed with Impact.

In addition, Reno Scum has signed new deals with the company.

I'm sure Joey Ryan was with Impact some time ago, right?

In addition, Reno Scum has signed new deals with the company. That's awesome! They should be a strong addition to their tag division!

I actually rode home from the Wednesday night FSW show with Joey Ryan.
I had earlier asked my friend Alex who works for Joey Ryan's fed Bar Wrestling if he could drive me home after the show. I did not know at the time though that Alex was hanging out with Joey afterward before Joey was leaving to catch his flight (Joey said he asked FSW to book him on the earliest flight the next morning so he could get back and get ready for Bar Wrestling the following night- Halloween.) Once I figured it out I told Alex he could just drop me off at one of the casinos downtown and I could catch a Lyft from there but he and Joey were OK with driving me home.
I can't say enough good things about Joey Ryan and Alex.
