PWG today announced their next show, The Makings of a Varsity Athlete, will take place on Friday December 20th.
Not sure I can go to this show though as I have to catch a flight to Europe from Las Vegas the following morning.

And the entire front row and both opera boxes sold out in less than 15 seconds on Thursday night. But, unlike at the Legion Hall in Reseda where you had to buy your ticket immediately or be SOL, general admission tickets remain at the Globe Theater.
My flight to Portugal via Toronto out of Las Vegas the next day got moved from 8 AM to 12:30 PM, so that makes it a little more likely I might be able to go to this show the night before in Los Angeles.

I am bummed out I have to miss tonight's PWG show. Just a bad night for me in terms of the day of this show as we closed out First Semester at work today and then having to get ready to fly out to Europe from Las Vegas tomorrow morning.
One cool stat I saw today as PWG gets ready tonight for its final show of this decade:
Of the 7 non-televised matches of this decade to receive 5 stars from Meltzer, 5 of them happened at PWG- including last Summer's awesome 6 man tag lucha match.

I am watching this show tonight on DVD that I missed due to my early flights to Europe (to see my family at their home in Portugal) from Las Vegas the following morning. Bandido is wearing purple and gold gear (his mask is also purple and gold) which I have not seen him wear before, but it makes sense as Staples Center is only a few blocks away from PWG's current venue the Globe Theater in downtown LA where the Los Angeles Lakers play their home games.
It is very cool watching Bandido (one of my favorite wrestlers) winning the PWG World Championship via his 21 PLEX. I just really wish I could have been there to see it live.
What a year 2019 was for Bandido- he won BOLA and later the PWG World Championship!
There is also at least 1 name from this show signed to the game getting his card released very soon.

Considering I believe only six of those names don't have cards already, someone's got a pretty good chance at guessing who.

Some good names. Would really like Tony Deppen! Hopefully remakes for Orange Cassidy and David Starr some day too!
