I just found out today that Impact returns to Sam’s Town in Las Vegas from February 7-9, 2020. That will be 3 shows to put on my list of shows for 2020.
But because Impact is in Las Vegas so often (this will be their 4th TV tapings weekend in 15 months) that is one of the reasons I chose not to go to Impact in Tampa Bay in April as it runs against Spring Break 4. SB4 is a bucket list item for me as I have never been to one of those shows (although I have been to GCW shows) and Impact does 5-6 shows/year in Las Vegas.

And NXT is now also doing a show in Las Vegas on February 8th.
Unfortunately, it is not really possible to go to both shows that night as Impact starts at 6 at Sam's Town and NXT starts at 7:30 at The Palms. It would have been great if one of these shows was in the afternoon that day as I could have and probably would have gone to both of them.

I just got back from tonight's Impact TV tapings at Sam's Town.
Since I live on the other side of town from Sam's Town, I drove there immediately after getting off work to avoid Friday rush hour traffic. But I got there really early so I went to see Birds of Prey at the movie theater inside Sam's Town located right next to the wrestling venue inside Sam's Town. The timing could not have been any more perfect as when I got out of the movie I walked over to the box office to get my ticket as my friend Alex sent me a text saying he was pulling into the parking garage.
At the show tonight, I sat with my friends Alex and Daniel. The show was packed, they kept having to add additional rows of seats on the floor. Impact announced they were pleased with the attendance tonight and said they would keep making regular returns to Las Vegas. That works for me as I always have fun going to the Impact tapings at Sam's Town with my friends.
Since these were TV tapings, I don't want to post too much in terms of results to avoid spoiling upcoming episodes but my favorite match tonight was Eddie Edwards vs Michael Elgin as part of their best of 5 series. I also liked at first the matchup for the the Hard to Kill rematch of Daga vs RVD, but was disappointed in how the match ended (a storyline between RVD and Katie Forbes.) Miranda Alize (who is staying at my friend Alex's house this weekend) is getting a tryout with Impact and tonight she wrestled Jordynne Grace. I like Miranda Alize (I have met her at Bar Wrestling before) and I hope she gets an offer from Impact.
At the end of the show tonight, Impact announced they were already sold out for tomorrow night which is when they are competing against NXT which is also here in Las Vegas tomorrow night at The Palms. But one of my friends told me they checked the box office and there are still tickets left for tomorrow night. I am not sure why Impact announced they are sold out for tomorrow.
Tonight was Show #6 that I have attended in 2020. Show #7 will be NXT tomorrow and Show #8 will be Impact again on Sunday.

I got home from attending tonight's Impact tapings. I got there a little late. But when I got to Sam's Town, I immediately ran into my friend Ofi (Willie Mack's girlfriend) and her friend Monique (Tommy Dreamer's girlfriend) at the bar. I talked to Monique and she remembered me from New Year's Day when me and my friend Alex picked her and Tommy up from their hotel near LAX and drove them to the venue for Bar Wrestling. I sat with my friends Alex and Daniel. Daniel had a different girl with him tonight than the girl who was him at Friday's Impact tapings. I have no comment on it other than to say I am impressed (but the chick on Friday was hotter IMO. ) I don't want to spoil too much about tonight's results as these matches were for upcoming TV episodes. I was thrilled when Reno Scum defeated the Rsacalz and I like the new teaming of Joey Ryan and RVD. Suicide also appeared and won a match as tonight they were heavily pushing the one night return to TNA in April during Mania weekend. Alex drove me home after the show and I almost fell out of my seat laughing at text messages being sent between Alex and Daniel. Daniel was making a joke about Miranda Alize staying at Alex's house this weekend and Alex told him to shut up because he gave her his labtop which is synced to his phone and she might be reading the message. Danny then tried to say he fixed it and she would think it was a work- at that point I was in hysterics as I was laughing so hard. Miranda is awesome, she is one of Booker T's top students but now currently training in Tijuana. I am not sure if she got an offer from Impact this weekend, but I hope so. This was show #8 of 2020 for me. A great weekend as I got to hang out with my friend Alex 3 times and with my friend Ofi tonight (she said she is buying me and her tickets to an upcoming ska show I want to see.) Show #9 will probably be FSW next weekend and then Show #10 will be my first Defy show in Seattle.
