It’s time to move it west fellas...the Midwest! East coast just kills attendance in my opinion except for the east coast residents.

Move to Chi-Town and you could pull from Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Nebraska... I drive all over for 40k, Bloodbowl, and Age of Sigmar tournaments and am willing to drive the 8-9 hours. That’s about as far I think I would go as it seems like GCon has become less about convention and more time doing other things (hold on...just my opinion).

There are all kind of things to do in Chicago as I go to the Chaos Cup every Labor Day and have a helluva time.

Me too. Always have a great time, but Chicago is way too far for me. Will definitely miss the crew if that’s where it takes place this year. Hopefully all the people making suggestions to have it in Chicago will actually go & it isn’t “well Chicago would be cool, (but I’m not going anyways)”

I don't have the same fondness for Jamestown others do but I wouldn't object to it being there. The college is no Sheldon House (for good and for bad) but my main issue with Jamestown other than the lack of things to do is the lack of decent hotels around there.

Regardless, hope we get info soon where it's going to be.

Jamestown is like an hour away from me, so that’s why it’s my favorite. I do get that there isn’t much to do in the area tho. We spend close to $300 on ubers getting into Philly and back to our hotel last year. Last years hotel (Quality, leniency & staff) were excellent, but it was far away from everything. Attendees may have to pony up a few more bucks for their rooms maybe? Chicago is really dependent on other events happening in the area that weekend or not. Even then, it may be a stretch.

IMO the BIG 30th anniversary GCon should be where it all began Jamestown... but Columbus, Ohio would be AMAZING too!
