I have had this happen several times, once or twice with Mr. X and another time in the color versions of Kenny Jay and George South. All on the losing side. The color versions were due to Stan Hansen and also Bruiser Brody. I also had this happen a few times when both participants were name wrestlers, but cannot recall the instances off hand. One time it was a tag-match with the Midnight Express winning I believe and did not feel I should roll for a save. A couple of others were single matches. So since this game is only limited by the imagination I usually take artistic freedom and privilege with it. If the match is quick and uneventful I maybe write in a huge after the Match event to forward maybe future plot lines or other rivalries come to light. Match only lasts 3 moves and then you roll snake eyes....sucks but maybe the ref was paid off a who paid him off. Maybe it was the time keeper? Use your own interpretation to bring g excitement to your promotions.

I haven't had a "first move won the match" kind of thing in recent memory... Until today! One of my EC wrestlers opened with his L1OC #6 which was a "neckbreaker-3", and the opponent rolled his PIN on L3DC. The opponent's PIN Rating was a "PIN 7 (4)", so he rolled a "3" on the roll, and it was OVER! With my timing system, it turned out to be a whopping TEN SECOND match, whew! That's the fastest I've had in a LONG time! Todd C WTIC

the dreaded PIN of 4 or higher...led to my first one years ago when Grunge did that to Pegasus (who had the 5 pin rating at that point)
I've had more matches than I care to count end in 5 moves or less.

I’ve had this happen a few tines, since using the Prime Time Wrestling card:
“Let’s get to this match already in progress.”
1,2,3 “And, it’s over!”

I think the shortest match I ever had was 4 total rolls. It was one of the wrestlers with a 3(stat) on his level one offense. That didn't lead to a pin, but a Down 3, which lead to the 2nd roll which yielded an out of the ring, the Out of the Ring chart roll lead to a DQ roll that failed.
I've had shorter matches while working on my application, but most of those are forced for testing things.

Sorry, had to bring this back after a recent match:
Stanislaus Zbyszko vs. Big Sue Jackson.
Now in my fed, if the very first roll is a tie, I roll on Gordon Solie’s card instead. Well that’s what happened. A pre-match brael that ended with Sir Z slamming Big Sue on the outside floor a couple of times and then throwing him in the ring. According the Solie’s card, the loser of the brawl (Sue) rolls on Lvl 3 Defense.
So, Sir Z rolled Sue into the ring, the bell rang, and I rolled Pin for Sue.
Zybszko scores the pin in 4 seconds!

In one of the online tournaments today...One of the newcomers vs Siege ended in 3 or 4 moves IIRC.

I have had this quite a bit over the years in waves of it. Most recent was Austin Idol defending his US Title vs. Kurt Angle. I built the match up to be the first time ever these two had faced and it would happen at my Supercard. Match happened third move in Austin Idol pins Kurt. I chalked it up to an injury due to a previous match and Austin used a dirty pin to cover. It ended with Kurt in a feud and injured for a long time so I had to pick the next in line to face Idol but what a bunch of heel heat on him for taking out Kurt.
In most cases with big talent I say it is due to injury in the ring or from a previous match or guys who might be on their way out of the company and putting the next guy over or it is the beginning of a feud. Lots of ways to interpret it.
While it can be frustrating at times I find it opens the opportunity to do some creative storytelling to figure out why it happened and what is the fallout from it if there is any at all. Sometimes a squash match is just a squash match. Sometimes the David's just defeat the Goliath's and that is that.
