I wasn't expecting any Mexican legends Although I can't say who is in this set, I did however sign the son of a Mexican legend, but he did not make the cut for this set. I tried to sign his father too but I was told no because his father's name is registered in Mexico (it is that big of a name) and we would have to contact Mexico City.

If I'm super duper honest with myself, it's more exciting to get unexpected lucha guys than getting the bigger big names. I can always put together my own stats for LA Park & Psicosis. But maybe getting guys like Drago or Aerostar or Black Tauras would be amazing.

I keep thinking this is legends of Mexico instead of best of Mexico ... so I would change my pick to whom I think is in the set since I only would guess one person based on my knowledge base since I'm kind of just getting back into wrestling

Glad for Daga in the set. He was a name I hadn't thought of, but as soon as it was announced I was like "Of course"

Daga is one of the names I signed at Expo Lucha 2017 in Las Vegas.
I actually already got to give Daga his card art last week on Thursday night when he and Tessa Blanchard did a meet and greet at the card shop at one of the malls here in Las Vegas the night before Impact started their TV tapings at Sam's Town. Daga and Tessa both really liked his card art. That also gave me an opportunity to confirm his current moveset for the card. So Impact's timing of coming to Las Vegas for the past few days really worked out well.
With Laredo Kid and Daga, this set has both the current AAA Latin American Champion and the current AAA World Cruiserweight Champion respectively (Daga has also held the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.)

Wow! 3 cards in and an amazing set! Since these indy sets have went "Best of" they have all been fantastic (not that the ones before weren't good) it's all gravy from here.
