Met Jim Duggan @ the ‘92 Royal Rumble in Albany, NY. He was at a table signing for fans and I asked me who I thought was gonna win. I showed him my sign , which on one side said “Flair is God” (& the other was for the Mountie). He said, “Flair’s a bum” & laughed. He was cool. Of course, the Nature Boy went on to win the Rumble and give me my greatest “live” wrestling memory (slightly topping Abby v. Brody at the Erie County Fair). Two of my good friends were at that Abby vs Brody Erie County Fair show, I missed it and to this day they regularly remind me about that show and how they got to see Brody and I never did.

I’d love to see a flyer for it. So long ago that I only remember that match and I think Sgt.Slaughter being on the card.

I just got back from this show tonight. I had a great time, this was my first time meeting either Ted DiBiase or Jim Duggan and they were both really nice (especially Duggan.) Before the show, I met DiBiase and Duggan and they both signed my copies of their LOW color cards and their pictures in my WWE Encyclopedia. I also got a small 2X4 personally autographed to me by Duggan. Duggan asked me if I watched today's wrestling and I said yes and he asked me who I like and I mentioned I liked Drew McIntyre. Duggan said he was really glad that McIntyre is finally getting his push in the WWE. It was fun listening to the stories from both DiBiase and Duggan (although some I already knew as I have read each of their books.) In addition to their time in the WWF they also discussed their time in other feds including the time they spent together in Mid South together. DiBiase and Duggan are currently doing a tour for this show together. If this tour stops in your area, I definitely recommend going.

Pretty awesome to get to meet these guys! Been watching them since their Mid South Days! which I prefer over their WWE gimmicks.
