"Tokens" come into play when playing by the advanced rules, and are used to take into account a wrestler's fatigue as the match goes on. The easiest way to describe it is as follows: Say Jimmy Snuka is wrestling The Missing Link & Snuka attempts to pin Link, whose PIN in the advanced game is (3). The pin attempt is not successful, therefore, the Link adds 1 "token" to his PIN rating & the next time Snuka attempts to pin him, his rating would be (4). Tokens are also accumulated following "add 1" moves & work the same way with a wrestler's PIN rating. Essentially, the more "tokens" a wrestler accumulates, the more fatigued he becomes, making it easier to pin him.
I was lucky enough to download a template for keeping track of fatigue during a match sometime ago when I first started playing & now I never play the game without using it. If you'd like me to email it to you, send me a private message & I'll forward it. (It's real helpful, especially if you're just starting out)

I use a 12 sided die to record fatigue right on the wrestler card (1 for each wrestler involved in the match). It keeps things simple.

I use the higher pin number and dont add a token after every unsuccessfull pin . Only when a finisher or add one move doesnt result in pinfall.

I tally up the fatigue on a slip of paper, ahem.

I use the same bag of pennies that I have had since 1991.

For my LOW fed Major League Wrestling (MLW), I use a regular sized spiral notebook when I play out my shows.
In my notebook, when I play a show, I label the brand name or PPV and date of the show and then for each match (which I number out as a I go) I write out and underline the wrestlers' last names and their starting pins and then cross off that number and increase it by one for each unsuccessful pin/submission attempt until the match is over.
Since I'm writing down notes of things that happen anyway in my notebook so I can remember them when I later post my results in the fed forum, this method personally works well for me.

I use a system similar to Mr. Vegas as the notebook helps me add notes to use for my write-ups later.
