Same be it new or an old match from years gone by. As far as the show this week it was another solid one. I love small details and not forgetting the past. A good example of that this week was when Decay popped into Swinger's Palace. Instead of forgetting Rosemary's past with Bravo they had a quick interaction between them throwing back to that past. I am starting to think they might have Moose do the AJ story line. Have him win the title off Omega and then let his contract "expire". Have him go around to other promotions to defend the title to prove he is the best in the business. The difference is he will have really resigned with them. I liked Bravo's look at Rosemary after she spoke, Swingers Palace is funny stuff and Moose doing the travel thing would be cool. I like how they've built up the Petey Williams & TJP story where we now get a tag team between Williams&Alexander versus TJP&Bahh... Yea Impact has been doing a great job of building matches. They almost always have some reason behind them as opposed to just a random match. If they do have a random match it usually ends up being interrupted and used to set up a future match and/or feud. It is something that WWE overlooks a lot sadly. AEW and ROH do a good job of that too. One thing I know Impact is setting up for the future is the whole Tenille Dashwood looking for the right tag team partner. Pretty sure that will lead to one or both of the Iiconics joining Impact and teaming with her. I think they may do Dashwood and Wilde in a tag match at Slamm, have Wilde warming up to Dashwood by then only to have the new lady/ladies debut and join Dashwood by turning on Wilde and beating her down.

Another great week for Impact. Doing good job of building story lines and having everything have purpose even if the announcers sold a bit much and early for me. Having Josh back didn't help. An AMAZING promo video for the KO division. I was thinking Rosemary might be done at being at or near the top then they have her go and pin the KO champ Deonna in a tag match. How does Rosemary keep getting better every time I see her? One small flaw is they did the opening and then a segment that was supposed to happen right after the opening but clearly the segment was filmed at an earlier time as different closes on Doc. It was like a "What's Different In The Pictures". Next week Josh Alexander defends the X Title in a 60 minute Iron Man match against TJP that starts and is mostly on BTI and finishes on the opening of Impact. I expect a MOTY candidate from those two. Joe Doering talked for I think the first time on Impact tonight.

It was a good show this week and I know I'm in the minority, but I don't mind Josh Mathews or Matt Striker. That X Division Iron Man Match next week looks good, plus if Impact just keeps to what they're doing and stay consistent it is fun watching them...

Good god what an amazing three hours this week. Yep I said THREE hours as the action started on BTI. I'd forgot how fun three straight hours of the same promotion could be outside of PPVs. The opening 60 Minute Iron Match between Josh Alexander and TJP was everything I expected and more. It better be in the MOTY talk. Not saying it should win but be considered. I suggest everyone go give it a look. I saw things that might have been done before but I hadn't seen them. The coolest was the small piledrivers. I want to see Josh move on but I've enjoyed his matches with TJP and hopefully down the road we see more.
The rest of Impact was so entertaining. Great in ring action and funny segments. "Why are you wearing a mask, I thought you had both shots" was a timely and funny line. Rosemary was awesome as always in her segment. We need more of that. Glad to see her and Decay getting promo time and title shots. Crazzy Steve has been great when he gets to speak. I love his character right now. The KO Tag Title match had some new stuff which is what you want when seeing the same teams for the 4th time or more. Loved it. Only complaint as they pulled an AEW. Every promo was interrupted. With Callis doing it to Sami and Moose it made sense and was consistency. The rest was repetitive. I did enjoy Sami freeze framing for most of Don's interruption then after dismissing Don continuing his promo. Brilliant. The other negative is a possible three way match for the Impact title at Against All Odds. Feels like being done to protect Omega. Oh well maybe it leads to something big down the road. Looking forward to next week and the Against All Odds special.

Oh and I forgot, Steve Maclin, the former Steve Cutler from WWE, is coming to Impact. So new signings have started already and Slamm is over a month away.

TJP vs. Josh Alexander was awesome stuff, plus TJP with or without a belt is my favorite. I'm liking what they're doing with W.Morrissey and his interaction with Scott D'Amore was good and Scott's last line was funny when he said "You can't teach that". I've already ordered Slammiversary on FITE, this will be two years straight getting that pay-per-view...

Yea W Morrissey is miles from where he was in WWE. Not sure how much was their booking and how much was maybe his increase in desire and work on his craft since then.

I was a bit of a fan of his and Enzo when they were popular, then when Morrissey was on his own, it wasn't that good. I wasn't sure about him in Impact from that last WWE run, but I'm liking what he is doing... I am wondering and I'd love to see a Lethal Lockdown between Impact guys vs. Omega & Good Brothers and two others with how it seems like they're headed... Against All Odds looks good, I work that day and the next day too, but I'll catch it for sure and for Slammiversay, I'm off that weekend...

It just seemed a mix of comedy and series. Also got redundant. Enzo does his bit which was entertaining, then the match was him getting beat on and Morrissey making the save. Just to me ever felt like Morrissey was a real bad ass. Not compared to how he has been in Impact so far. That might be where it is headed. It sure would be cool. They could get by with just four on four as it has been done before. Yea I work most Saturdays so will be working next Saturday but will watch on + when I get home. I would like to see the Impact and TNA World belts be separate. The Impact be the top title and it have longer reigns. The TNA title would be a step down and could change hands a bit more often.

I get you on the comedy part then serious and getting redundant, but now that time has passed he seems refreshed. If the rumored TNA show happens, then splitting the belts would be best, but if not they should just drop the TNA belt and just have the Impact belt. I did like when Moose was the TNA Champ, that was a fun angle...
